maybe cushlon. the old zoom fly was lunarlon midsole with nylon plate and was incredibly soft. no way was that phylon. I have injection molded phylon on my tiempo 94 Jordan Chicago's and its rough when new. to awhile to wear in.
Outdated? Lunarlon is their best tech they've had and needed to bring it back. I still have a couple pair of lunarlons that are more comfortable that any Nike I've had in the past 10 years.
It's outdated coz Nike haven't made shoes with lunarlon for years aside from this I believe. They've created a number of cushioning set up in the last 6-8 years such as vapormax, react, zoom X etc. I won't argue how comfortable lunarlon back then as I had some running and basketball shoes with it but after some time, it bottoms down which is sad. But I'm quite interested in these new Lunar sneakers and I'm tempted to buy them here in our country. They're on sale for around $50 USD😮
All sneaker prices are outrageous these days. Almost $250 after tax for Jordan 3,4,5,6,7 etc. Jordan 1s are $150!! $115 for GR OG all white AF1! That’s just crazy, classics like Dunks and AF1 should have stayed at $100!! It doesn’t cost Nike crap to make these shoes, there profiting no matter whT
this the same lunar foams Cole Han uses in their lunar grand shoes. Nike owned Cole Han and came up with the technology to launch a comfort shoe sub-brand. I got them on the day they dropped they are nice.😊
I’ve never tried Lunarlon or the variant used in these, so I can’t really say anything about the comfort, but the design looks good on these, and that’s probably what decides if these are a hit or a miss for most people. React is very comfortable, but I haven’t had much luck with the durability, maybe these are what I need? They look breezy, good for summer.
Bought the Lunar Caldra (Lunarlon) like 7 years ago and wanted to find brand new model of these. Come to find out it’s been gone for 7 years and came back 2 months ago perfect timing. Pair $46 for mine at Nike Outlet back in the day lol.
I had a couple of Lunar running shoes back in the day and loved them. Glad they are bringing it back, but it will take a good style for me to switch back from Adi Ultraboost.
I would not recommend Lunarlon, the midsole in my Hyperdunk 2014s bottomed out/wore out so quickly, within 6 months, and I barely used those shoes. Even then, as you mentioned at 3:45, it is quite firm, it was never soft or bouncy to begin.
Had multiple pairs of the lunarlon flyknit chukkas back in the day. They were really comfortable, but they lost comfort over time, the sole was not squishy anymore. Would be interesting to know if they did changes to the lunar material? Nowadays i prefer the boosted adidas shoes. Would love to see the ultraboost dna 4.0 back again
I think these are great. Mix of old, mix of new. Like look like a retro but also contemporary. All those lines are beautiful. I got the first colourway as soon as I saw them.
change the insoles, it was so painful , go half a size up. there is this cable like design, locks ur feet down and its painful, wear thin socks and change the insoles
Yep, thats true. I ordered these half size up, just like every nike shoes I have. Unfortunately, I felt too much room left on the toebox , I had to return and ask my real size, so I would say they are true to size
i saw an advertisement on a social about a runner by nike thats under $100 that look like this...i actually like them better than this, can't remember the name tho
Lunar foam is inside, carrier foam is regular phylon, hence the dual foam setup called lunar-lon

I really hope they bring back some flyknit with lunar foam!

I think solid colorways like white, or olive with white midsole will look great with this model.
Just picked this up $90 on sale. Worth it at that price in my opinion. Meets the expectations I had. I could walk for hours in these EZ
A buck Fitty is steep for those

@@LissetteStdenisJordan’s 1s are 180 now lol

Awesome review! These shoes look awesome, ordered the og colorway
for 150? there's no way in any universe these are worth that amount.

let's talk about how old jordans have old tech!!!! need to upgrade the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7...... with zoom air!!!!
I would like to see jordans as max cousin shoes
Having Zoom Air on those would be awesome, especially for today's hoopers, maybe Zoom Strobel/Double stacked Zoom?
Why do that when yall still buying $15 shoes for $220+
I'd like to see jordan 1, 4, 11 and 12 protro.

These are more of a on sale pick up...like 65 or less pick up...
Just got mine in today....hella lightweight and comfortable. Probably grabbing my parents a pair
True to size????
man i miss the Old Nike Lunar epic low!!!!

I love my Alabaster and Green Abyss pair! I go up 1/2 size on these.
The colorway is nice tho
I miss the lunarglide 6 and 7
should compare this lunarlon with the renew cushion. see if its really the same.
change the insoles, it was so painful , go half a size up. there is this cable like design, locks ur feet down and its painful,
wear thin socks and change the insoles
Loved the Nike Lunarfly 306 Shanghai extremely comfortable.
I wish you had a rating of 1 -5
I’ve still got lunar tr ‘s in the closet. I loved those shoes
I had some Kobe’s with lunarlon and they were more comfortable shoe I had
I loved my old Lunars & I really like this colorway. I want to say Currys 1st shoe further Lunar tech
The design is simple and straightforward, would buy easily
Bought a pair, like em a lot. Retro and futuristic in one. Only thing is, the grip on wet surfaces is not all that good.
The thing i like with nike lunarlon shoes is they're very light but buttoms out quickly.
Just bought a pair of these for 135 yesterday, excited to get these in!
It's a decent shoe, the price is way way to high for what you get though.
Lunarlon was great when it was first released but sucks now in 2024. I ain't wearing that.
flyknit chukka was a cool sneaker, shame nike stopped making them.
How would you compare this show verses new balance 1080?
Hes, have you ever tried Kybun shoes? I've heard interesting things and would love to hear your take
How is the sizing?
Are those a bit water repellent?
How is sizing? Tts? I hear they fit a bit bigger.
Many people say to go half size down cause they are roomy in the toe area . Can’t confirm this
Yep, thats true. I ordered these half size up, just like every nike shoes I have. Unfortunately, I felt too much room left on the toebox , I had to return and ask my real size, so I would say they are true to size
how are the NB 550 on foot for bigger guys? comfort...
i saw an advertisement on a social about a runner by nike thats under $100 that look like this...i actually like them better than this, can't remember the name tho
So happy lunar is back, dare I say lunar is better than react but that’s just me, I have both these colour ways amazing pairs
Lunarlon back in the day was the bees knees.
Looks like the original Lunaracer
Once these go on sale 😤 it’s over
corporate bait
Are u using commercials now boss?
At 150 for 15 year old technology . that’s a pass
I love hes’ reviews but man can he make a shoe look bad in his on foots. 😂 with all due respect. 🫡
