The reason you struggled to reattach the endlinks is because you're supposed to loosen/tighten them when the car is on the ground (or a 4 post hoist), not exactly easy depending on the car but tightening a swaybar whilst the car is at droop (as in not on the ground) puts preload on the swaybar which essentially means it isn't working properly - always disconnect swaybars whilst the car is on the ground and reattach them whilst also on the ground and you won't have any issues of the LCA fighting you when trying to remove/reinstall the strut.
I put xyz coils on my vf about a month ago, I understand the pain you went through 😆. I didn’t have issues getting the lower control arm on the rear back in, but getting the front sway bar link back in was a pain and getting the brake line to wiggle out needed a mountain of wd40. 100% worth it but not the funnest job ever 😂
Great effort and looking forward to see the channel grow. Even in the old ones, suspension can be hard due to variances in tension when car is on its own weight or supported, angle of wheels etc.

it doesn't look awful like most lowered cars do (if you must lower, don't stance it, it looks stupid) but i wouldn't do it to my car. the car didn't have much clearance to begin with, now she will have to worry about scraping the bottom of the car on driveways with an incline or decline, and the ride is just not as comfortable. sure, if you are racing, stiffer is better, but it gets old quickly if you are driving every day and feel all the jolts, especially on shitty australian roads.
