I should’ve done this when I posted the video 😅 here’s a bit of context for this AU:
The roles are reversed. Caine is a human player while the rest of the cast are AI who reside in the VR world. Caine is a programmer who discovers a file for a video game that was never finished (as the company who made the game has been shut down). Caine decides to download the file and try to make his own tweaks and adjustments to the game. Upon testing it out, Caine gets sucked into the VR world, and meets Bubble, who acts as his guide through the game. He learns that in order to escape this game world, he has to beat a series of levels and earn the trust of the AI characters (who have managed to become sentient overtime).
