Hi Kristen, nice video! I would like to know what key steps you took to treat and prep her skin for this chemical peel? Any specific ingredients? And also what was your clients feedback when using the vital c cleanser mixed with the ageless resurfacing mask?
Hey! Thanks! This was just a 2% salicylic and 11% lactic acid with pomegranate enzymes. For sure not a treatment i started her with. She’s been coming to me for months. So preparation came from proper homecare (using similar acids at home) and previous facials. And the “power cleanse” from image is a cocktail that I use frequently. Clients LOVE it. This in a way was what also “prepped” her skin for the peel. I would not use this resurfacing combo if you’re planning on doing a peel over 20%. Hope that helps!

How do u avoid steam in ur face with shield? I use glasses and diopters for extractions so they get fogged up with steam 😌

Great video! As a newbie Esty, I feel a little uncertain how to deal with lash extensions on a client. I was told if I drape a hot towel over them, they could fall out. So I do my best to avoid that but it looks as if you’re abke to drape the towel right over them. Did I get wrong information about that? Just still learning
Thanks! Funny cuz the last facial video someone asked me why I kept the goggles on for so long and it’s cuz the girl had extensions too. For this client, asked her prior of she cared or not and she said she didn’t cuz she was getting a fill that week lol but generally I keep the goggles over them. But if they’re about to get a fill, it doesn’t matter too much. And I’ve rarely seen a lot of fall out with extensions even when I don’t cover them. If the glue is past that 24-48 hour period, it should be cured. if you’re not tugging and putting oil based products on them it should be fine and water won’t do the same damage. And in the video you’ll see i avoid pressing down on them or wiping directly on them.
