Recently I've reached a total of 8,000 HOURS in DayZ, and I've finally decided to take on the solo challenge. Not only do I survive for over a week as a solo, but I reach riches beyond what I could've imagined, with a drug business to tons of PvP!
Excluding cinematics, and narration - every element of this video is 100% raw, and organic footage recorded on a live server.

i litteraly have never played dayz and i feel like i know everything i need to know after watching u for the past year
Trust me, no matter how much someone tries they will never figure it all out. The game is far too diverse to fully cover, thousands of hours myself and I still learn new things often.

I’m brand new to dayz. What server should I start with?
I feel that. Watching jlk always makes me want to reinstall the game. Then I remember none of my friends want to play dayz and I’m not much I’m the mood to put up with the stress of solo play for a noob
idk man, DayZ and Rust youtubers are a different breed when it comes to story telling.
45+ minutes of pure cinematic class, pure enjoyment and in a way people that never played these games still understand it. Fascinating....
rust, to me, is DURRRRRR PEW PEW PEW PEW BUILD TOO MUCH PEW PEW PEW DURRRRRR. i simply cannot enjoy a single thing about that game. i dont know what it is about it.

As a solo and first time player I found an army base, hid in a guard tower during the night starving and shivering, got stuck in a shed while being attacked by NPC's and I watch this man kicking ass in style. Always love your content JLK.

As great as it would've been to see the endless possibilities that could've been created from all that loot, it was still a truly beautiful ending. To be able to scrape up the amount of high tier loot that you did as a solo, there was still beauty in your accomplishments. Great video mate!

I think what's so great about this video is that you understood many of us are usually solo; most I've ever gone around with is a trio.
So this video tricks you into believing it's purely entertainment... but in reality it's lesson from one of the most experienced DayZ players on how to play Solo.

The meat and other animal byproducts are worth quite a lot. All of that meat, fat, guts and pelts he had on him were probably worth around 20k.
Hunting is very lucrative on the server, so is questing. Don’t sleep on those 😉

I've never played a second of DayZ, yet I've been on the edge of my sit throughout the whole vid. Everytime the "You are dead." text shows up in front of the screen, my heart drops.

What a great video! You should play on the "Aftermath - Cherno 1" server, some big crews on there and a lot of smaller groups that pack a big punch. Really active as well.

Coming from a Rust player this game looks so cool now... I used to play this game back in 2014 when it first came out, and it was full of bugs and all the mili loot spawned on the coastal cities, It wasn't much but it was so fun, racked up about 2k hrs and I haven't touched the game since... But I might have to give it another go some time in the future after watching your vids.
