One OK Rock rocked! They are so good live. Taka’s voice is so powerful! One wonders why they’re not having concerts in larger arenas ( saw them at a sold-out concert at the Fillmore - but only a couple of thousand people) or headlining large American music festivals. They deserve to be seen and heard by more people!!
I agree. Unfortunately missed the Filmore show due to work and made it to this one specifically for them! It’s a rare opportunity to see Japanese artists here so I'm grateful for ONE OK ROCK coming out here every now and then regardless. Thank you for the comment and hope you enjoyed the video! 👍
I believe Amy Lee had said Philly was the last stop for these guys and I’m happy I was able to catch them. Very energetic group of musicians, and the singer has an incredible set of pipes on him. Definitely interested in this band now. And the bassist was in the groove for tue entire set!!!! Dope
Thank you for recording and posting this. I was there last night and admittedly had never heard of One OK Rock… I’m absolutely hooked now. They were incredible. Evanescence was very very good and Muse was fantastic as they always are, but these four blew me away. Seeing this made me realize that there is yet another gene/sub genre that I have been completely missing out on.
Absolutely. Most Japanese bands are ridiculously good songwriters and performers. One Ok Rock is probably top 3 in terms of popularity (for good reason, they're amazing) because they have a bit more of a "mainstream" sound compared to their earlier stuff, but there's so many awesome smaller bands that it's wild to me how much good music comes out Japan.

I was at this show and this performance was amazing Between acts, crowd members would have their flashlights on and like wave them around in sync with the person across the stadium from them lol
Yea..I thought I’m the only one noticed that.. he really exhausted from this tour.. and plus before this tour they had Japan dome tour.. and after this they will have another Japan dome tour in April…damn😢
@@sightseek3r Oh he can do much, MUCH better... Entire band's mid-30's and they haven't even hit full gear in this performance. I highly recommend "We Are" from their 2018 Tokyo Dome concert. That's when Taka, the vocalist, gave everything he had.

これ行ったけど、アメリカ市場はまだまだ厳しそうだった。MUSEやEvanescenceの前座で知名度がないから客入りは巨大アリーナで5割ぐらいの客で三十分だけ。客は97%はMUSE目的の白人で日本に興味ある人はあまりいなかったから日本語歌詞が入ってるとハードル高すぎる。Takaもやりにくそうだったかなあ。
まぁこればかりはしゃーない感はあるよな

@@maedasukai おそらく要因の一つは中国系アメリカ人と韓国系アメリカ人たちが日本や韓国がファンディングしてるアニメ・Jpopや韓流・Kpopの宣伝政策に便乗してるから。アジアの先進国は文化は素晴らしく、アジアからいかに自分たちがアメリカナイズされたかを謳い文句に白人にアプローチしてるため。本当はただの貧困出でアジア圏の政策の税金も払ってないんだけどね。根深いから日本発の映画やゲームとタイアップしてないと厳しいかも。
海外で簡単にいくと思わないし厳しいだろうね
特に今回は前座という状況から何らかの制限、例えば花道使えないなど
完全アウェイのステージだけにファンとしてはその勇気、素晴らしい奮闘を
心から称えたいなあ😍
何か新しい挑戦する時、ホームとアウェイどちらか選ぶのであれば、
断然アウェイにして欲しいし、恵まれた環境にいれば、
恐らく高みを目指す野心は生まれてこないことのほうが多い と思うけど
自分達が本当にやりたいこと、目指すポジションが明確だからこそ
これからも挑戦することを何より望んでいるよ
@@violarainbow7187 だから今回花道使ってないんだ😓以前 5 seconds of summerと回ったツアーは、ガッツリ花道使ってかっこ良かったよね。手応えも良かった。
あと、やっぱりデカイバックアップで売り込まないと難しいのかね💦
