Your statement, Hilbert, that “The Palestinian Liberation Organization who sought for [sic] armed struggle against Israel in order to create a Palestinian state that was independent and separate from it” is incorrect. First, it is not the Palestinian Liberation Organization but the Palestine Liberation organization. The difference is important (see below). The PLO did not intend to create a state separate from Israel, but to create a state that would replace Israel. Per Article 2 the PLO charter of 1964: “Palestine, with the boundaries it had during the British Mandate, is an indivisible territorial unit.” In other words, there is no place for a Jewish state.
In the 60's maybe. But then the PLO recognised Israel and sought a two-states solution. Which is quite obvious, otherwise there wouldn't be a Palestinian Authority today. And I don't see why using Palestine instead of Palestinian would imply a one-state solution.
@@MrAlsachti No, not maybe. What I described is definitely correct regarding the original intention of the PLO. Despite the 1993 Oslo Accords and the putative recognition of Israel, the PLO continued its campaign of terror against Israeli and Israelis. Who takes the Palestinians Authority seriously? @ 0:48 There's also a famous poem about a battle with the Mongols, which gives the colors their modern symbolism; it's widely cited by both the Palestinians and Kuwaitis. some even say the flag predates WW1, and used this poem: "white are our deeds, black our actions (in battle), green are our pastures, red are our blades" To simplify: white is good deeds, black is courage, green is prosperity, and red is victory. Having said that, the flag itself wasn't originally really about the Caliphates, when it was adopted by the Hashemite. The official announcement regarding its adoption (or rather, the flag of the Arab Revolt, which is its ancestor), makes it clear it's there to assert the dynastic claim of the Hashemites to rule over all the Arabs. It has strong religious and familial undertones (the Hashemites--who led the revolt--claim descent from the Prophet via his daughter Fatimah). The idea was this: "We, as members of the Banu Hashem, and religious Sunnis, are more fit to rule the Arabs than the Turks are"

They're not being ethnically cleansed, stop believing lies. They're being warned for their own safety to leave northern Gaza because that's where most of the bombing and fighting is going to happen, since that's where Hamas has most of its terrorist infrastructure. Telling civilians to evacuate a war zone is not ethnic cleansing. Israeli civilians have been evacuated from areas near the border as well, were they ethnically cleansed? The 1.1 million Palestinians who were told to go to southern Gaza can come back when the war is over. Not all Arabs are Muslims however, as some are Christian, as many Muslim Arabs were before they converted to Islam in its wake, and not all Muslims in the Middle East are Arabs as they are also Turks and Iranians who are Persians. The Jews preceded Arabs in Judea as most Arabs lived in Arabia, not Judea, until Europeans from Rome expelled the Jews to roam the world. With no homeland of their own, after 2,000 years of hatred, murder and persecution in the Muslim and Christian nations Jews began to look to their ancient homeland as a refuge. Their aim was never to replace people already residing in the land, but to live alongside them in peace, but as history attests the Arabs, many of whom had migrated from other Arab countries themselves, began to feel threatened and rather than welcome new entrepreneurship and modernisation which the Jews brought with them, plus employment opportunities, they started to attack Jewish farms bought on unwanted malarial swamps long before the State of Israel was envisioned or had become a reality, and it was only then that the Jews looked to Britain as a more benevolent overseer than the Ottoman Turks who fell in 1917 and the notion of a Jewish homeland in Palestine was taken with some seriousness in Palestine, due to the Jews' obviously historical and Biblical links, but also emphasizing that it must not harm the rights of people already living there. From that point the Arabs refused to co-operate and wars and skirmishes brought about loss and gain of land on both sides over many decades, until Israel in 1948. Even then the Arabs attacked and Israel gained more land every time they attacked. With co-operation as cousins the region could be a place of prosperity for all, but the Arab position concerning a Jewish homeland has always been "no," even though it was obvious that most of the places where the Arabs had settled had ancient Hebrew names, not Arabic! It is not about replacement, but co-operation, but the Jews' Semitic cousins instead shout "from the River to the Sea" meaning that they want the whole land to be an Arab Islamic Caliphate. 🙃

There's also a famous poem about a battle with the Mongols, which gives the colors their modern symbolism; it's widely cited by both the Palestinians and Kuwaitis. some even say the flag predates WW1, and used this poem:
"white are our deeds, black our actions (in battle), green are our pastures, red are our blades"
To simplify: white is good deeds, black is courage, green is prosperity, and red is victory.

The Israelis are Jewish and are the majority, while the Palestinians believe in the oppression of Jews and that their Arab minority should rule over the Jewish majority because of vague historical precedent
There is a free Palestine. Personally I would have sold it if I were them, but giving up Palestine for free to Israel was a nice move of them. Free Palestine indeed! COME AND TAKE IT.

Jews, Arabs, Druze, Samaritans - all live in Israel and support Israel
In "palestine" there are only Arabs. And even they, the palestine Arab, fight among each other.
That was the flag of the 1936 Palestinian revolution
Imagine supporting the brutal murder of over 1200 innocent people and counting.
Imagine being so indoctrinated that you see a video about a flag as "supporting murder".
I can't because I'm not Arab
imagine supporting the killing of hundred of thousands since ww1 and displacing millions taking their land and then act like the victim, what kind of sick hypocritical human are you
Imagine supporting the Zionist entity that kills civilians, colonize the west Bank and even use chemical weapons
How is it "support" to discuss an aspect of the history of these events? Also, yes the violence and destruction is tragic, but it is unfair and disingenuous to wring out hands only when one side does it. This violence does not occur in a vacuum. It is, unfortunately, a cycle of violence that goes back to the 1948 Nakba and even farther. The very reason why this violence occurs is because of apartheid and ethnic cleansing carried out against Palestine by the state of Israel. Gaza is a 125 square mile territory with 2 million people in it 40% of which are children under 14 that is under violent occupation.
This is not true, this was not the old flag of Palestine
The Palestinian flag should be banned worldwide!
That would be easy if the flags of many arab countries didn't look so similar

Many of what you said is incorrect , in 1916 the flag had nothing to do to palastin , so you can't claim that the flag is palastinian , plus the first rebelion was not in palstina at all.
anuther thing the second rebelion wasnt becos they wanted thir own country bot becos they didn't wanted the jowes in the land of israel.

Why did the flag of the hejaz change?
British changed it
