one of my favorite songs ever. Wish they would come back to life. I love how badass victor looks and then he plays like the most beautifully clean guitar parts.
Sam's bass lines are very underrated on this song. He adds so much depth to the chorus and bridge/outro sections by playing in the crevices of each melody and rhythm.
MICHIGAN FEST. Do you remember when Chris Daly of SWEEP fell through the roof? Amazing show. Owls put on a good show too... I love cap'n/joan/make/owls
@capnrichard Oh, you mean "Family Man." My friend and I saw Owls live at one of their last shows back in 2002, and were sophomores in high school at the time. We couldn't figure out what the hell that dude was doing either. We figured he was on a vacation with his family in Arizona and his van broke down (National Lampoons style), but he had a shaker or two and some marimbas. Luckily, the Owls tour bus drove by and they picked him up, changing the band forever.
One day God came down from heaven and said to Tim: - This is the perfect fingered ... and Victor said: - God... I think this way sound better, check it out... and thats how this song born.

I'm happy to finally see the guitar work from this band. So rad. Make Believe also has incredible guirar work. What a gem & treat this is to watch.
Yeah man. I stood in front of Sam the whole time when Make Believe played Wichita on the Of Course tour. Absolutely amazing show.

seriously, i wish the camera would just zoom in on what victor is doing. amazing amazing guitar work!!!
I've noticed his left hand doesn't have to do much. He knows how to pluck so well. He just keeps his right hand really busy.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO.
Victor Villareal is a beast!
How is this crowd not losing its shit?
4:54 chocolate rain guy cameo
Haha I always think that too.
Why is he not filming the guitarist? god damn it.

2;46 smooth as fuck
am i losing my mind or is that someone other than mike drumming. really doesn't look like him to me.
It's Ryan Rapsys.
Mike will record the albums for Owls and JOA but doesn't do much touring.
@@soul_Link12 He toured with them a lot early on.
cap'n jazz rules
You also gotta check out Aussie Brett O'Malleys new song Amazing Life! Very cool tune!
He looks quite a bit like Perry Farrell
does anyone knows what's the guitar tuning in this song ?
I've figured out a lot of JOA but never the Owls. Make Believe tunings were really wild.
Paul Koob, I think.
Dope
best band ever
