Great video once again GenAv Aviation, it finally came out 😅. Beautiful late night approach into sunny Abu Dhabi. But a terrible rainy departure out of Seychelles 🇸🇨. Once again, hopefully, you'll come to Seychelles on Etihad again
Not necessarily terrible! I enjoyed the rainy weather I had on all the flights as it was something different for a change. Also I saw some sun while I was in the Seychelles, don’t worry. Thanks so much for watching all the Seychelles videos, hope to come back soon!
You are right, your video was of economy, my mistake and apologies, having said that business was disappointing, with a 2+2 configuration, and no privacy, I guess we were spoilt by 380 experince just a few hours before, all the best, Richard
No worries! 2-2 is actually standard on narrowbody business class, so compared with the A380 it’s always going to be lacking. Like I said, it’s actually a pretty comparatively good product, but that’s always subjective. Thanks again!
I don't see any difference between this and economy, very disappointed with Etihad A320 business from Abu Dhabi to Chennai yesterday, airport Lounge OK just about, showers very good, astonished at cabin layout after just having experienced A80 from Heathrow to Abu Dhabi the same day, my assessment would be slightly wider seats and free wine, beer etc, food was economy style, you've worked hard on the video, but the sequence of flashing lights on wing tips could be from economy section, I would seriously question if this is a business class experience, and would look elsewhere for short haul, although A380 was terrific
Hi, I think you might be mistaken into believing this is a business class review? This is in fact an economy review on Etihad’s A320 economy product. Regardless, I would actually hazard to say that their respective business products on both the A320 family and widebodies is a lot closer to the likes of Emirates and Qatar than most people think. Having experienced both their A320 and 787 business class, the only drawback was the lounge in Abu Dhabi which I’ve heard is now much better now that the new terminal has been opened. Apart from that, everything from the seats to the food and the entertainment is only a slight step down from the other players. I think it’s in the economy product where Etihad is really lagging behind its competitors, as this trip report aimed to highlight. Anyway, everyone’s experience is different and you might’ve had a horrible one compared to mine, so I’d be interested to hear more from your side. Thanks for watching!
Yes, unfortunately Etihad cut down on a lot a few years ago as they were going through a pretty desperate financial situation. It's not ideal, and I hope they can return to Emirates or Qatar level service in the future. Thanks for watching!
Even rainy and cloudy, Seychelles is beautiful! Nice video.
Yes! I always think rain and storms have their own beauty and drama to them. Almost never upset when I get one while flying. Thanks for watching!
Nice video!
thanks!

No screen you have to buy ipad before you fly to enjoy multimedia because the aircraft has 0 screens + no blankets and the list goes on
