This man is sooo interesting! What a history and life he has, and to save those beans and re-introduce them to Italy! Janey, did you realize the avocado tree is an espalier? You need to show Robbie! From his wine barrel pond to the beautiful stone fountains, the wide variety of beautifully shaped and sized trees throughout both front and back gardens, it's just breathtaking everywhere you turned with the camera. Awwwww, I have an eighty-year-old Italian neighbor here in San Jose who was born and raised and still lives in our neighborhood, Bob reminds me so much of him! They have one foot in the Old World with all the beautiful knowledge and wisdom from back then. Bob is quite handsome by the way lol!
