Thanks Glyn. That's the whole idea! We want to make the subject more accessible for beginners and the wider construction industry.

Hello. I am going through lots of your videos and I have a comment. Although I know you are trying to keep them simple and short, I think you should give a small example in each, just to clarify each part explained.

    Hi Fred,
What BIM Information Management Process is please? A poll question from BIM4M2 was asked as part of a survey and it is not clear to me. The question was, do you have a suitable BIM Information Management Process in place?

+shahin j Hi - the question is possibly a little confusing. It might be trying to get at how you are currently managing information flow through your business and whether you are doing that digitally. You should have a process in place for managing data (or information) on projects? For those projects in a BIM enviroment PAS 1192-2 and the CDE structure within that is a good model. More info here: ua-cam.com/video/wRc2vG7IeYo/v-deo.html and here: ua-cam.com/video/EJbn16ww8Yw/v-deo.html. Does that help a bit?

      Hi Fred,
Thank you for your reply. I still think the question is confusing, specially for a yes and no answer type of scenario. Thanks again.

Federate is the British word for integrate.

Mish mash of CAD, Geospatial and Data Integration disciplines clearly not understood by the presenter. BIM is built on well established foundations and has been a logical extension to them.

The presenter talks too fast and with poor enunciation for the density of the data being delivered.

Yes Fred, please stick with presenters who don't look like the Taliban, distracts the content and destroys their credibility

Coming onto BIM learning videos and making racial slurs at presenters... You need to get out the house more Horace
