I bought the Mrs and I matching Thule Subterra 25L Daypacks in 2017. They were decent. I retired mine for the Osprey Nebula and the Mrs retired hers at Christmas because she was gifted a lovely purple Osprey Celeste Pack. I had the same problem with you in terms of the strap padding and thickness and the lack of a hi-vis interior. Lastly that intro....🔥🔥🔥🔥
Man i just was at the mall yesterday window shopping and ended up getting a Knomo roll top pack. This is by far more organizable though and has great features. Looks good and great review as always GD! I’m diggin that new studio lighting. Stay blessed my man!
Hi George, I'm loving your videos! I especially appreciate that you provide dimensions for the bags, as an amateur bag designer it really helps me! One thought on this roll-top bag: I don't understand the reasoning for adding large zipper access to the main compartment of a roll-top pack. To me, a roll-top is about simplicity, security and weather resistance, at the expense of some inconvenience accessing what's in the pack. If you're going to have a large zipper opening, why not just have a clamshell bag? Do you see any benefit to the roll-top in this case, as opposed to a zip-open bag? Thanks for the videos and keep up the great work! Subscribed!
Hey Jason, the roll top with a side access gives me the best of both worlds. Expandability, weather resistance and form factor.. I will accept the slightly diminished weather resistance in a urban pack for the convenience of the access. Send me an email I would love to take a look at your packs. See ya
Thule and Duluth really know how to do rollups. If youre gonna carry your bag with one strap, get a sling bag, because you might develop problems with your shoulders and back later in life, not using both straps. Thanks for sharing. One.
It doesn’t make sense but especially for one shoulder carrying thinner shoulder straps work better for me. The hi-vis interior lining is amazing. This pack excels in the organization department. I’m not exactly sure but I think the company pronounces the name as Tooley with a silent “h”. Or at least that is how we say it in the pacific north west
Great vid. Those shoulder straps are a bit of a deal breaker for me but that hi viz lining on interior plus the low profile look of the bag are definite pluses for me. 👍
@@GeorgeDEFINED yep, not found the perfect bag yet either. Currently using osprey nova ladies from 24/7 series. Use for work, works well for me but just wish shoulder straps a tiny bit beefier. Still love this pack though. 🙏
How’s your GreenRoom136 Rainmaker holding up? I received mine back in April 2019 and used it straight for about 5-6 months. I stopped using it and downsized when I realized I could simplify my EDC backpack into a daily work backpack. That said, I always used it as my travel and camping backpack. Just noticed the back mesh padding is starting to shed and show thread.
George DEFINED have not contacted them about it but looking at the shedding threads, it looks like it just got snagged on something which I can’t blame GreenRoom for but can’t hurt to give them feedback on it. Still love my Rainmaker
I have this pack for 2-3 years now. The bottom of the bag started peeling off by itself within the first year of usage(occasional carry only). I love the bag but can't recommend it due to the poor quality of the pack, which is unlike Thule.
Great review, thanks so much. I was deciding whether to get the 30L or 34L, now i'll go for the 34L!

Mine held just fine.. Sorry to hear that it's not holding up for you. Did you contact them?

Lol. This guy. Thanks again man. Keep them coming.
I'm trying! Thanks for watching.. See ya
The backpanel killed it for me.
Really? This is an older video but I still liked this pack.
Did you try thule en route 23l backpack?
No, I haven't gotten that one yet.
I have this pack for 2-3 years now. The bottom of the bag started peeling off by itself within the first year of usage(occasional carry only).
I love the bag but can't recommend it due to the poor quality of the pack, which is unlike Thule.
I'm sorry to hear that. That really sucks. I've had mine for almost two years and it still looks great.
Damn thanks for the insight TJ! See ya
