They are sweeping up everyone. Splitting up families is appalling. What are they doing with kids left behind? The fister care system is already overloaded without enough homes or case workers.
Group foster homes are atrocious. The children often sleep on the floor, there's no clocks or artwork on the walls, no books, toys or games to play with. All of their clothes are community property. The children own nothing and have nothing to do. They don't even know what time it is or what day. There is very little adult interaction. The people who work there are underpaid and seldom show up for work. The children are often left alone at night. Sometimes the people who are most dedicated, who do show up to work are pedophiles. The children have no where else to go. They like going to school because at least they get free lunch there. On the weekends and holidays they may only get fed one meal a day. 😢
