how do you contain your bamboo? has anyone every tried growing it inside of a container of some kind? I was thinking about using half of a plastic 50 gallon drum. thank you
hi, I have yellow groove and golden bamboo. all of my bamboo is in large pots. does just fine in them in fact I divided a clump this year so now I have more. hope this helps
If you can get hold of a 50 gallon plastic barrel it will be fine with the top and bottom cut off but it probably won't have the same life expectancy of a proper root barrier. It will probably degrade in 5 or 6 years whereas a proper root barrier will last four or five times as long.
Just use looping shears work smArter not harder. Dig a trench around. Grove. Or it will turn into a nightmare
