Great clip. Love Moe's lilting, "sing song" chatter. Palm grip goes against almost every published golf instruction. Still, he is acknowledged as one of the BEST ball strikers of all time. Was it true genius OR
OR a fanatical obsession with repetition and HARD work?? BOTH?? Thanks, Jack!!

The two-axis (angle between shaft and forearms at address) of the Traditional-Injury Pron-body deforming mechanics (TIP-bdm) has been taught since golf was invented. It took a shy Canadian learning his swing and rejecting peer pressure to change to produce golf's greatest ball striker. A review of golf literature going back as far as you like, repetition and hard work using a NON-OPTIMUM grip (Vardon, intelocking, overlapping) has not produced great ball strikers. Every Tour Player on every tour that has ever existed did hard work and hundreds of thousands of reptitions. The best any of them ever achieved during their playing careers around 65% ball striking accuracy. Moe routinely hit 17 fairways and green when playing; that is ball striking.

If genius is being able to hit a golf ball more accurate than virtually every golfer who has played the game, then Moe was definitely a genius.
