For those (including myself) who feel the pain, loneliness, heartache and all that comes with it, just remember…with vigilance and perseverance, we will get through the constant obstacles in life because it is the Blues that understands us!!

Definitely not looking for pity or do I ever play the victim but I will bet you the best of the Blues written out there are from someone who has or is experiencing the blues in one form or another which makes it so relatable to millions out there that though they feel alone on their rough travels through life, they are not alone. I, for one, could not possibly write a good country song or rap song since I haven’t experienced/lived that lifestyle ( well maybe country lol) but that’s what I was trying to express.

I grew up in Memphis same area as Elvis.. I ran barefoot and would sit outside the doors of juke joints and even outside windows of black churches.. I heard some of the most down home blues ever .. I’m knocking on 70
