I write stories taking disney movies and inspo from the original story to make horror retellings. I'm currently working on finding a way to get them out and make a profit(even if it's like $1 just knowing people would pay for my work would be nice) oh and I'm only 14 so a lot of publishers won't even look at my work

I love how I can imagine a story with all these songs! Each song I hear in the Minor Key has two characters. A deranged professor or something who kidnaps a student of theirs. Their twisted idea of love and obsession has caused the professor to stalk and kidnap the student. They are semi aware of the wrong it’s doing but doesn’t care. They idolize this teen as innocent and beautiful, and they are determined to force the student to fall in love with them.
I know you said comment any other disney suggestions... but I would lovvvvvvvvvvve for you to do Anastasia "journey to the past" no scratch that I would diiiieeee!!!! love ya loads!
I still think it's worth doing in major. There are a number of minor songs that essentially sound more evocative when converted to major keys. On another note, there are many other modes (and 7-note scales) as well, although they are harder to get used to singing in.
This sounds like a song that includes two of the maddest and most evil villains teaming up, falling in love, entering a ball of some sort. Their grand entrance is followed by this song as each and every person cowers in fear, staring at the two, horrified of who stands before them. After the song ends, they lash out and perhaps kill almost everyone there and bow at the end, exiting the beautiful event in bloody good style.
I know that you've already done "Kiss The Girl" from "The Little Mermaid", but I would love to hear "Part of Your World" in minor key - it could be very interesting in terms of the style and rubato to play around with

Perfectly captures the natural dark tones of that Stockholm syndrome in the beauty and beast storyline. 👌 some kinda twisted. Brilliant and cathartic vocals as always too. :)
While I do agree this song is fantastic, I have to point out that Belle does NOT have Stockholm Syndrome. She stayed to free her father...she hated him while captive...Beast lets her go to visit her sick father and she proceeds to get in trouble...Beast saves her and takes her back to the castle and she remains willingly to look after his injuries from the wolves and gets to know him. He thanks her by showing/giving her his library which starts the process of her falling in love with him. She frees him (and by extension his servants) from his curse and they live happily ever after. Stockholm Syndrome is where someone is captured against their will, has their minds twisted to make it seem like their captor is the good guy or whatever and the victim ends up falling in love with their captor/abuser (e.g. the relationship between Harley Quin and Joker is essentially Stockholm Syndrome).
This is great! This is my favourite cover of this song, no question about it! I'm not sure if this song will work but there is a song from the original Pete's Dragon and it's called "Candle on the water" will you look at that one? Or maybe "Baia" from the three caballeros? This sounds like the serial killer got so depressed about his love interest (beauty) and slowly got angrier and angrier at the one she married, so he nicknamed him the beast and is now plotting to kill him.

Perfectly captures the natural dark tones of that Stockholm syndrome in the beauty and beast storyline. 👌 some kinda twisted. Brilliant and cathartic vocals as always too. :)
While I do agree this song is fantastic, I have to point out that Belle does NOT have Stockholm Syndrome. She stayed to free her father...she hated him while captive...Beast lets her go to visit her sick father and she proceeds to get in trouble...Beast saves her and takes her back to the castle and she remains willingly to look after his injuries from the wolves and gets to know him. He thanks her by showing/giving her his library which starts the process of her falling in love with him. She frees him (and by extension his servants) from his curse and they live happily ever after. Stockholm Syndrome is where someone is captured against their will, has their minds twisted to make it seem like their captor is the good guy or whatever and the victim ends up falling in love with their captor/abuser (e.g. the relationship between Harley Quin and Joker is essentially Stockholm Syndrome).

This sounds like the serial killer got so depressed about his love interest (beauty) and slowly got angrier and angrier at the one she married, so he nicknamed him the beast and is now plotting to kill him.
