Why is this so accurate, I got a offer letter, but the job isn't coming, my mother literally got the worst kind of sick, my relationship took so many hits, it almost ended. And I did at times lose my mind, but I kept going no matter what. Half the things I'm still clueless about, but I won't stop, I'll just calm down and keep steady.
This is insanly accurate. I lost my job in a surprise redundancy after putting in my all.
I was in the middle of building a house and it looked like it wouldn't be finished but thank God it was.
I have been looking for a job now for months with no luck and with over a decade of experience in my field. I have had multiple interviews and no offers. This has never happened in my life and feels like the world is out to get me.
I was so close to giving up but I didn't. Since 2020 I have felt that piece by piece everything is being taken away from me.
I realised that perhaps I didn't need some of what was taken away. Loosing my grandfather in December this year on Christmas day was just awful though....

Here's the tea :D My ex and I broke up a year ago, and they spent a year messing with my head and my emotions pretending to want me, just to reject me when I finally started to like them again. So Xmas and new year comes and I'm done - a month went by without talking to them, I'm happy, I feel finally free - like finally over them, no baggage left in my life.
Then a different ex from several years ago gets in touch and I'm just not interested, brush them off, all ok.

So I am still sitting here half-assed SHOCKED and just trying to clear that energy out of my system, doing nice things, getting on with my work, but yea, that was one of those ground fell from under your feet shocking level moments. All done now - just need to recover.

I have been on the donor list for a kidney transplant for nearly 3 years. I did get the call over 12 months ago but just as I was going down to theatre the surgeons came in and told me the transplant would not go ahead as the donor kidney had been found to have nodules which could have been cancerous therefore they were not prepared to take the risk. I have never given up hope of receiving a transplant. Stay tuned to see if "everything I ever wanted" comes to fruition.

Secondly, the LA Wildfires 30 minutes north of me, started two days later. 😭
I was stuck without a car and making money because I'm a Rideshare driver full-time ,and a college student.
Although I loved having time off, I didn't like losing a lot of money by not earning any.
I'm in debt from the theft, because of the deductible and I finally put a anti-theft device. It definitely taught me a lesson a very expensive way!
