I am unable to decide which I loved more, Bobby’s big speech, or the entirety of your reaction to said speech. In any case, both are two of the best things that I have ever seen.
While I love Bobby’s speech I also love when Bobby and Crowley impersonated each other and I love the joke around the fact that he can’t find time to eat the cobbler
I was excited for this reaction when you said it was the best episode of Supernatural so far on Twitter. :) I have to agree! Bobby deserved an episode in the limelight. It feels like a lot of other hunters would struggle if he wasn't there.
Actually Jensen put in so much more work than he does as an actor, lol. This was his directorial debut. So much pre planning and so much he was learning along the way. He did a great job and this is a fan favorite episode. So glad you enjoyed it so much. Girl, I had to turn down my volume when you were screaming🤣 I love it when Bobby gives them hell. These boys did not have a normal upbringing and require a smack upside the head sometimes. They have both spent a tiny portion of their lives living 'normally' but the rest of it they were on the road, living in motels and abandoned buildings, seldom even having a chance to make friends, in and out of schools (until Dean just ended up getting a g.e.d.) Honestly, they live in their own little social universe so Bobby's not wrong about the world revolving around them. Everything they relate to is the here and now - what it takes to get the job done and it has been that way since they were very young. As it turns out the best semblance of family and a father figure has proved to be Bobby. And look at everything he has shared with Dean and Sam; mountains of lore as well as practical eperience they knew nothing about. This man has continued their 'hunter training' far beyond what John had taught them. Rufus and Bobby are pretty much adored by all the SPN fans. Both men are hardened hunters, possessing incredible knowledge and passable social skills when it comes to interacting with the public, both of them comfortable as hermits and few deep relationships. Again, whatever it takes to stay alive and get the job done. I think either of them could easily surpass most university professors in a number of subjects if they could live normal lives. Yeah, I could write a thesis on Bobby and Rufus after all these years and hundreds of hours of rewatching episodes. I feel your love when it comes to these amazing characters. ❤️
We all have our "happy place" episode. I knew this one would be yours. Mine is in season 11. Life would be boring if we all liked the same stuff. Yes, the sheriff is Jody Mills, the neighbor is Marcy Walker. Somewhere in the youtube rabbit hole is a, behind the scenes video of the making of this episode..Jensen's first time directing. It's been a while since I watched it. I wish I remembered the name of it. I loved that one of Rufus' aliases is Luther Vandross. And now I want to know what names John chose for his aliases. The flow in this episode is fantastic.. so much happened and it's seamless. It is in my top 10.
Sams reaction was perfect. Of course we will help you out Bobby. All you had to do was ask. That was the issue. He never wants to ask. He’s lived a lone life for a long time.
That's the ultimate conundrum, Sam and Dean spent their entire lives basically being raised by other people because their father needed to focus on what he was doing and he never had anyone to watch him other than the same few people so they're entire lives they constantly been having to reach out and ask people for help so they've been conditioned to do that Bobby is so scared he's going to lose more people that he loves like his wife he never asks anybody for help so when he needs help he can't get himself to ask for it and when Sam and Dean who spend their entire lives asking for help reach that point when they shouldn't ask for help because they've asked for help so many times they're just used to doing it, In other words these three people are the best for each other, their relationship helps each other to understand boundaries. Modern writers, this is what's called character development... Try it sometime other than gender/race/sexual orientation being your entire character. 🙄😒
If you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to hide, If you don't want someone to look for something then you probably have something you don't want them to see, so..... Yeah. 😉
@@ZION73082 unsure if this is meant in a jokey way but it is technically the law, right? plus, it's within anyone's right to deny access to their property to ask for a reason and demand to see a warrant, whether you've been stopped and frisked or it's your home. some people are just private and don't like the idea of their private belongings being turned upside down and examined by strangers.
Been waiting for this episode. One of the best of the season, 🙌 down! Showing everything Bobby does that goes unnoticed. It’s understandable why you like Crowley. Even though he’s evil he brings entertainment to his 👿. And it’s usually comedy gold with him at all times. Even when he’s serious he’s hilarious 🤣. And the mystery of Sam, no comment!! We’ll get there, if there even is something up with him at all. Knew this episode was the one for you. Who does t like spending a Weekend at Bobby’s? Exactly. ✌️
I knew you'd love this. And your thoughts are very true. Makes you look around and be like am I appreciative of the people in my life. I'm glad you had a great time with that episode. I think we all did!
"But girl you got great taste!" Absolutely. I always say I have a huge crush on Dean, he's my dream man. But Bobby? I could be comfortable with the guy like Bobby. Down to earth, skilled, gruff but gentle on the inside, and cute as hell!
I do think Bobby was ready to try moving on with his neighbor here. Like, when she admitted that she was just trying to get him over to her house, he DID express interest in coming over, before she shut him down due to getting liquefied monster all over her. I think he's just been out of the dating scene so long while he saw the signs, he was oblivious to what they meant.
It would have never worked. Not because she was completely unaware that monsters are real, but because she is such a typical innocent civilian that would probably have a mental breakdown when she meets her first demon. Not exactly someone Bobby can rely on with the world he lives in.
@@Da1337Man I only said that Bobby seemed like he was ready to try and move on from his wife after all these years. I never said that it would work out or that it would be a good idea.
@@Da1337Man I only said that Bobby seemed like he was ready to try and move on from his wife after all these years. I never said that it would work out or that it would be a good idea.
This is the first time I noticed that Rufus uses famous aliases like Sam and Dean….”do you know this man Rufus, a.k.a. Luther Vandross, a.k.a, Ruben Studdard”…..hysterical!
Yeah the directorial debut episode of Jensen Ackles. Bobby truly is the mission control of the hunter community so much work providing intel to hunters and making sure their cover stories look legitimate, given his voice and how he holds himself you really do believe Bobby could be someone’s boss and is not to be questioned on second guessed. Yeah Rufus its clear he and Bobby have history one that will be revealed soon but you can tell despite it they will go to the wall for each other. Rufus needs to bury a monster Bobby helps no question Rufus offers Bobby information on Crowley freely without his permission then goes to break into a museum risking his freedom to get a relic despite their history Bobby and Rufus are each other’s ride or die. As for Sam and Dean yeah they needed to hear this Bobby does love them but this thing with Crowley they needed to prioritize Bobby has it bad currently. In the end Bobby got his soul back and went back to work. Bobby Singer truly is a legend among men.
Bobby is definitely more of a father to sam and dean than john ever was I'm so glad Bobby finally clapped back at sam and dean it's about time someone did they are both so selfish
I love your dress, so pretty, so lovely. Yes, this was a good light-hearted stand alone episode, very Bobby-centric. Also refreshing to see Rufus again.
Great Reaction :^) ... I agree, this is one of my favorite episodes. ... (It took me decades to figure out that my friends and family need/want to help, especially since I've done tons of favors for them. I was actually being selfish in not letting them return the favor of helping me back. IF it's only one way, you're devaluing them. Like they're not worthy enough to help you.)
I remember feeling a bit bad for Sam in this episode, Dean was the only one who was disrespecting Bobby yet Sam got an earful anyway lol. Loved this episode & loved this reaction, your absolute joy at the Bobby of it all was super fun to watch.
Oh my gods hahaha I totally love that you LOVED this episode 😁👍 it's a definite top 3 as far as BEST episodes in SPN for me. You nailed every part about this episode that just makes it 👌 love your reactions as always ❤
It's several days in the life of Bobby when he tries to recover his soul from the demon Crowley, deal with Sam and Dean's personal issues, cope with an outbreak of international monsters, handle a local woman with a crush and get a piece of peach cobbler.
I have seen all 15 Season... and this episode is still one of my favorites. There is soooo much awesomeness in this. My personal problem is that i am the one who always is there for anyone else, but than don't give those people the option to help me... which... makes them feel shitty ^^*
Why call Sam in too yell at them?? Dean's the one's whos being an ungrateful b*tch?? You know, in this specific scenario. Poor Sam lol though frankly it's not like he'd care XD in all seriousness though I love little moments that allows the characters to learn from their mistakes.
This really is one of the best episodes of the series. I don't think any fans would contest that. The best we've had up to this point? Quite possibly. It's definitely close.
Even during what I consider down seasons (opinions on 6 vary widely, 7 is generally considered the low point) we still get some absolute classic episodes like this one.
The problem is, as young as a person is, you gotta watch, and teach kids respect and don't teach them like they are queens or kings. Too many times kids be nice for a little bit, then they don't and they grow up to be two-face, or just disrespectful to siblings, or parents, and yes, parents should respect there kids. Learn how to change there bad behavior into good. Yet we get older there excuses. Supposenly if a lady is a bit mean to you, it's a flirt, no. It's an excuse, which means she will believe and start feeling like she can get away with things if she gets you, and yes, men give into there I'm supposenly sorry. Men, do it it two. Usually I prefer to be left alone, just because, sertain things, but I cave into ppl. I need to stop doing that. But I'm glad you enjoy supernatural. Personal for me, 1-3 seasons, just because, it felt more of what guys do and as a whole of a season, they're finding someone or something like season 1 finding dad, season 2 finding yellow eye demon, etc. It gets too fan made after season 5 but eh, I liked most of the stories and their humor episodes.
I love when Bobby tells Garth to call the FBI, and then Garth calls Bobby’s fake FBI phone
Bobby: HOW ARE YOU STILL ALIVE!
🙄🤦♂️😉
I knew you would love this episode!
Remember that Dean didn’t like planes? He went on a plane to Scotland for Bobby.
I think the entire fandom adores Bobby & Rufus together.
Jensen will direct one episode a season going forward. Usually the third or fourth episode.

I love how much you love Bobby. I wish they had Rufus in the show more frequently BEFORE this because his acting & dynamic with Bobby is awesome!
Yeah Bobby and rufus are a great team
I didn’t realize that the actor who played Rufus was in the original 21 Jump Street series.

It would be better if instead of the new series "Winchesters" they would shoot a series about the adventures of young Rufus and Bobby.
Brilliant!
I totally agree with you 💯👍
I have said this the past few years
Been saying this for years! I wanna see what happened in Omaha
Or even the Men of Letters
Easily one of my favorite episodes of Supernatural. Bobby and Rufus are incredible together!
Yes Bobby and rufus are comedic gold
Weekend at Bobby's, Darkside of the Moon, and Baby. Arguably the 3 best episodes of Supernatural.
Bobby is the legit Badass and Rufus is a great, comical character.
this was one of the best episodes of this show, all 15 seasons counted for. you are not wrong
