let me know if you've ever used a wet tile saw down below! It opens up a lot of fun project ideas!

I've used wet saws for plenty of tile projects animal related and home related. Looks like some Indian slate I just sourced some for a client. You can use a diamond blade in an angle grinder too. It makes more dust but it goes fast and is cheaper than a wet saw blades are cheap too.

My next slate project I'm planning to use an angle grinder to knock off the square edges, hoping it doesn't explode in my hands, lol!

@Greg Jones always hold the grinder in your right hand and pull the blade towards you. If you follow the spind by pushing away it will try to walk all over and grab the material instead of a stead grind. Get a full blade no tooth notchs to start with less of a chance a diamond plate will chip off. Although I have not had that happen in 10 plus years of rock or tile, cutting, grinding, sculpting. You can use your wet saw to knock off edges too just raise the tile on the opposite side from the blade for edge cuts or turn the tile 90⁰ and nip off each corner if that's your goal. If you have flagstone in your area it works well for the caves you build too. Good luck

I’ve tried everything but wet saws. They all suck
