Ha Ha! "I'm not a princess, who am I kidding". Alyssa, this was a fun one. So hard to get rid of beautiful things, especially when they're a designer brand. Going into my closet today to look at shoes and belts. oh lord...
Loved the more chatty format. It was great to hear your thoughts behind the decluttered items. I definitely struggle to declutter beautiful/expensive items that I haven't gotten tas much wear out of as I thought I would. Great tip to apply the three word rule 😊
I'd absolutely watch a video where you're helping your mum to declutter her closet or anyone else really. These are so much fun. Reminds me of when I still lived with my sisters and we would go through all the stuff we had. Swap, keep, get rid ❤️
This year I finally gave up the fantasy that I can wear heels. Only owned 2 pairs and donated them. No more sore feet, knees and back from wearing torture devices. 😄 It's hard to give things up though. I have purses that I keep just in case. Watching you is inspiration.
I’ve never been able to wear heels 3” or higher. I finally gave up and look for about 2.5” ones, maximum. I love the extra height, but not enough to be tortured for it, either. Where I live I haven’t actually seen a single woman wearing high or stiletto heels for decades, they are considered pretentious, silly and ridiculous. They same for pointed toes, I just can’t get my toes into them, “leg elongating”, “flattering” or not. They are other ways to achieve these goals with shoes: nude colors, color matching to hosiery and bottoms, almond toes, low vamps and avoiding ankle straps, just to name a few🙂
Coming from a 63 year old woman, I would highly recommend everyone think twice before throwing out your good quality items. I’ve recently pulled out some of my 30 year old things which are so in style these days and I’m thankful I saved them. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve discarded a item only to regret it in a year or so. If it’s good quality it will be hard for you to replace it in the future, things are getting cheaply made and the costs are going up.
I totally agree, and I’m also in mid 60’s. Firstly, those classic pieces don’t age and often come back into style. Secondly, the quality of these vintage pieces is often so much better than what you can find today. And lastly, if you some wonderful statement pieces, hold onto them to add some pizzaz to an otherwise basic outfit. Quality items are worth holding onto in my opinion! And my Mom, my daughter and I often end up passing these classic or one of a kind pieces to each other so that they continue to get worn and enjoyed!
A small piece of advise, do store your bags stuffed out so they retain their shape better. You made plenty of progress. If in doubt, store it. I have regretted so much I have discarded. I am not a hoarder but I do miss and think about some of the things I’ve given away or sold.
I am a bit older than you, and I, too, agree. Times, sizes, situations change over the years. I do regret getting rid of some fabulous suits, bags and shoes. Think well labeled, and well protected long term storage. Sometimes the fabric alone is difficult to replace, and things can be restyled. If it is a completely out of character purchase, that is another matter.
Mid 60’s here - and totally agree. It has gotten very hard to find quality to replace some really great older things. If you love it and use it, even infrequently, and it’s quality - keep it!
I absolutely love hearing you talk through your decisions. Especially the espadrilles! Yes, I totally beat myself up over those purchases that are gorgeous but not my style. And the purchases that we are told we need (like a trench coat)that just do not feel authentic to my style. Giving ourselves grace is so hard sometimes.
I enjoyed hearing you talk through your thoughts, too! I think it's also wise to make informed decisions about which pieces are useful place holders for something that will work better (like the booties). It prevents rushing into decisions and settling...I'm patiently biding my time until I can make more dresses (my preference), as my schedule allows. In the meantime, I wear the dresses I have and skirt/jeans + blouse combos...I plan to phase out some separates in the future. Thanks for the great videos!
I think that the problem with your espadrilles is that they're white... Maybe cream or black would have been more versatile and more matched fir your low key style
I love what you said about something being beautiful creating a sense of obligation to keep it, even if it doesn't look beautiful when worn. That struck home!
I needed this Alyssa - at 67 I am most comfortable in a flattering pair of jeans that pair well with t-shirts, feminine and classic shirts, blazers etc. (think levis wedgie straight). I've gotten so much inspiration from your videos, and have been motivated by this one to do a mindful cull of items that just don't feel "me."
I am so grateful for your thoughtful process. Attachment is a slippery slope and I don’t want my “things” to own me - only need them while they serve a good purpose for me and then happily I pass them on for others to enjoy and use. Things that are kept for too long can start to look unappealing for sure. Let go so you only keep what you love and use!!!!
One of the best things about your videos like this is how articulate you are about why you like or don’t like your items. It really helps me to put into words my own preferences as I am trying to figure out my own personal style. Thank you for sharing. You’ve got some beautiful pieces!
The large strabrown bag where you added a strap becomes the perfect tote for times when shopping or needing to carry more than wallet and lipstick. It gorgeous
Thank you Alyssa! Wonderful to see your process. Thank you for walking us through it. Congrats on making some difficult decisions! You did so well! Big hugs, n💖🌺😊
New fav bag additions in my price range are Longchamps mini bags; hold a lot, good scale 4 my 5’3” height. Indestructible. Leather? Just handles & flap. But superb quality for $125 💰 spent. Take a beating . last forever. Everyday & travel apropos
Agree skinny belts are a non-sequiter. Your strength in phase one is reevaluating vs decluttering. LOL. Phase 2 had me rolling on the floor; recognized myself 😮
OMG! You're ruthless! I could not part with some of those gorgeous dress shoes you let go. Saying goodbye to a "what if" fantasy life is the hardest! The best line of the video is "who am I?" LOL! So glad to see that MOSCHINO belt gone. Giant designer logos - Ugg. You are way too much your own person to be a walking advertisement. Such a helpful and inspiring video.
I like your casual and chatty videos just as much as the ones the are straightforward and to the point. Like Melizza Z said, hearing you talk through your decisions is helpful. I wonder in a future year's closet edit, you might just do a recap of how many of a category you let go of, and how many you kept, for perspective. Keep the relatable friendly slow-fashion content coming!
I can’t tell you how much I love your videos. Helps me to make decisions in my own closet. Especially when you talk about not necessarily letting go of your evening wear that you know work for you when the occasion comes and you can recycle. Totally love this one❤
The way you walked us through your decluttering process was invaluable Alyssa. It spurred me on to finally give up on several long-term items that I have dithered over year after year. It felt really good. I would certainly watch you assist others to declutter their wardrobe too. Fabulous content. Thank you.
For the pretty things that are hard to get rid of because they’re pretty, I always imagine that someone else will be very grateful to have said pretty thing and actually use it and look beautiful in it
Wow.... I’m glad you kept your black and white bag because it looks so good with your black and white flats, Alyssa! I really identified this video because finding our authentic style and getting real about our true life style takes awhile.
Wow! You are ruthless when you declutter. There was one black clutch that you put in the getting rid of pile, and you made the comment about not being a princess when you took it out of your wardrobe...I love that piece!
The over-the-knee patent leather boots are like the occasion wear clothes, in my opinion. You may not wear them often, but they are a perfect go-to item to add interest and texture.
I've been looking forward to part 2 and don't want the series to end! Thank you for the inspiration and also for the format - very real, very relatable to my own wardrobe process.
Decluttering happens in stages! I think there is so much pressure to get rid of everything at once, but there are so many emotions tied up with the things that we own and love, even those that no longer serve us, that it is better to let them go at a slower pace. Thanks for walking us through your process!
YES! So well said. I usually edit many times over the course of the year and will continue to do so. I prefer the consistency in small bites method but wanted to really dig in after travel!
@jennifercollins2592 I absolutely agree. For me, It truly is emotionally heavy to part with my items. I am in the process of decluttering my shoes from 65 pairs to about 25-30. I tried to do it in one go and I just couldn’t. I felt so emotionally drained during the process. I only managed to do 7 pairs 1 week and another 6 pairs the following week. I will try another 6 pairs soon. I need to sit on someone’s couch and talk about why I can’t get rid of stuff.
Thank you for normalizing everyday clothes dilemmas. I do beat myself up when I buy something because everyone was suppose to have it. Mine was (drumroll) the utility jacket. I grew up in a rural area. And we just knew them as a work coat. Because yes, you need a pocket for your wrench. And another pocket for your pliers. And another pocket for your work gloves. And side chest pockets to hide your hands in when you don't need your gloves. So when I bought one that was more suited for trending in, I was utterly confused and hopeless in it because I couldn't be utilitarian in it. You know, cause it's a utility jacket.
Just my opinion……I hope you keep your beautiful black and white heels with the bow. They go with so much of your wardrobe and are just fantastic looking…..in my opinion. Thanks for this video. I love watching your process.
I lived out of a backpack for 7 months of traveling, and I agree - you get so much wardrobe clarity from spending several seasons on the road without a closet and limited access to laundry. It helped me come to similar conclusions ("let's face it, I'm not a princess" 😍). It's liberating to let go of pieces that we chose to fit an image not anchored in reality. It's hard enough to let go of those dream aspirations, but harder still to find a home for the pieces we've acquired in a fog of lofty illusions. THANK YOU for sharing that next step... For certain decisions it was clear you came into this exercise with one idea, and were willing to discard it as you talked through your style words and practical experience...I love that you re-sell on consignment/Poshmark, resole shoes, upgrade straps...to make these items attractive and useful for their next home. Well done! Navy might be one of your colors, but it wasn't a big winner during your accessories declutter 😜 that's a great lesson too.
I liked this video very much. It was inspiring and showed me that I also have to declutter my own wardrobe and jewelry. Oh gosh, I have so much to go through. Wish me luck. No sentiment, just practicality.
Cannot believe you are bagging the red bag! It always brings such a beautiful pop to your outfits! Though it clearly is odd girl out in the company of the rest of your bags, but still. I feel sad. or to another point you made, I find myself keeping something that looks great on me, even if it does not go with my three words. Feeling inspired. Going to shred my closet!
As others have commented, I love how you talk through your decisions. I started talking out loud even if I’m alone while sorting through my closet. It really helps me organize my thoughts.
This video was so helpful! I am still building up my decluttering muscle with regard to clothing and accessories . The way you talk through your process gives me tools that I can use when I go through my closet. Thank you!
You're so much more decisive than I. How you got rid of those gorgeous pumps is beyond me....🤔 I wanted to reach through my phone and snatch them up! 😄 Seriously, tho, your reasoning makes so much sense and it's in keeping with your style points. Love these videos. More please. XXOO ❤️
I love wearing my Castaner Espadrilles with slightly loose fit jeans and floaty skirts that are just below the kneecap or maxi length. I wanted a pair for quite awhile before I purchased them and they quickly became my most worn summer heels.
Alyssa, you absolutely cannot get rid of that 'Portugal' bag! 😉 It is so very you and - oh gosh! - so many times, when I was watching your summer vlogs I thought how lovely it is and how much it suits you 😍
I wanted the small Loewe puzzle for ... gosh, 5 years? I talked myself out of it multiple times. It won't be practical. The zipper will be fiddly. It'll be hard to access things inside. Then, earlier this year, I went into the Loewe boutique in Munich and realized I was completely wrong. Bit the bullet and bought it, submitted the VAT refund, and haven't had a single day's regret since!
OMG CHRISTINE I just bought one 🙈 Secondhand, plus 40% off, a bit roughed up but i LOVE IT. It is literally my style all wrapped up in a bag. Im glad I waited for a good sale but omg I could have saved many mis-purchases and dollars! Thank you for sharing this in case anyone else is wondering! xx
Congrats on your bag :) The puzzle has been on the back of my mind for some time now, but I won't go there yet. Everytime I've seen one on vestiaire I've convinced myself I must be mad. BUT I just realized saving up for it might keep me off impulse buying other junk in the meantime. So true what you said about settling. I just wish people would stop saying how great the puzzle is on the internet so prices for vintage ones can go down again :) *just kidding* *or am I*
I bought my Loewe puzzle small tan bag a year ago and I counted I wore it about 30 times. It's a month in a year. I used it even to go to the park with my daughter. I feel happy when I use it. Prices are going uuup and the cost per wear of mine is going doooown.
Watching this video, I realised why I keep coming bk to your channel. My style is super super basic, and your style tips are just perfect to elevate my style as most of the stuff out there are just too flamboyant for my personal style. Thank you soo much.
I am so in love with your black and white Coach bag. It’s the only multicolored bag I’ve ever seen that I’ve loved. If you ever sell it, please let me know, but I think you should keep it!! 🖤🤍
I really like these kind of videos, because it shows, that every woman is stuggeling at some point when getting rid of something 😄 but that’s normal! Thank you so much. They are just the perfect morning-tea-videos. 😊
So helpful! (Both parts) I just realized TODAY, after listening to you, that I don't like to be fussy either! I feel conspicuous and not like myself at all. I think that huge chunk of self-knowledge will remove the stumbling block to purging some items. I always thought that if I liked something or thought that it was beautiful, that item was "me." Thanks for being the brick wall that fell on my head. Lol.
Two bits of advice I find helpful when decluttering: 1) if it's not a 'hell yes' it's a a no. 2) Likely the look and aesthetic of something is not the same as it suiting you. Interesting to see your decision making. Thanks for sharing. With shoes, I find having a number to aim for helps me to make decisions (mine is 12). Good luck!
We are so opposite in style! I got rid of all my beige things (which don’t suit my colouring) and let go of so many of my black items. I let go of all my uncomfortable shoes but kept several heels ( nothing higher than 2 inches). So happy about that! Thanks for sharing your decluttering and the agony that can go with it. Loved this video! 💚💚💚
Yea , I am guilty of getting things based a list of must haves. And I am almost 60! Really enjoyed your video. I will definitely be more careful when I reevaluate my closet. Thanks so much for such an honest video ❤
Love this style of video (love all your videos tbh) I will say that decluttering too aggressively doesn’t work for me all the time, maybe it’s just me, but I come back to pieces after a year or more of not wearing them. After some time I see pieces in a new light and appreciate them once again.
Thanks so much for going through why you are keeping or getting rid of certain pieces of clothing. Letting go of clothing that still fits is really hard for me, but there are items that aren’t really me or fit my current lifestyle, so I don’t wear. You’ve inspired me to take another look at my closet. Thank you.
I pulled the trigger on Loewe puzzle bag for my birthday last year and soooo happy! Never had a designer bag before and it’s the most expensive item in my wardrobe but every time I wear it it just makes my heart sing. It was my dream bag for like 4 years… tip for the US: order on Loewe web-site, tax and duties are included in price but at stores like Saks it’s +tax which can be hefty.
Great video. I decluttered a jacket many years ago which still plays on my mind...as you can tell. I now put somethings, like your espadrills, away out of sight and just see if I think of them when I'm putting outfits together. When I next review my wardrobe (sounds less heart wrenching than declutter to me) I go to my 'maybes' and can usually make a clearer decision. Seeing you go through the same process and facing decisions involving the heart and mind is very reassuring. Thank you for sharing.
This will SO help me clean out my belts. Did it a month ago but was NOT as strong as you. I’ll try again. Love the red bag, but thought it was NOT you from the beginning. Your new brown bag is great, just a little off for you. (Look at me. Think I know stuff)
I have problems with finding shoes to fit, one I have a narrow foot (skinny heels) and the other is I need a bigger (or longer) toe box . So now I'm looking for sling backs to solve my skinny heel problem. I enjoyed your picks with your belts purses, shoes and earrings, I too wear everyday earrings the most And then your commentary for all your reasons for keeping/throwing out is most helpful.
Wow! Tough declutter but you did it. I totally empathize with keeping things that you love just because you love them and not necessarily because they're practical or necessary. A game changer for me was from Christina who talks about decluttering things that are just not chosen. Your struggle with the espadrilles reminded me of that. For me personally I allow myself to keep things that I only wear a handful of times each year and are rarely chosen as long as I have space for them. But if a whole season goes by and it was never chosen, I let it go.
Are we still watching at the end..erm Of course! I enjoyed this so much! It really felt like we were chatting and going through a declutter together! Loved hearing your thought process.
I admire your ruthlessness. I have trouble letting go of shoes because my size is so hard to find in a cute style. My purse collection is too big because it's how I change up my everyday uniform. There's always a reason to get a new purse. Oh dear, now I'm feeling guilty
Relatable! I work from home, so I usually wear sweatpants and hoodies, except in the summer. I get angry with myself for getting clothes I don't wear all that much. But it's not because I don't like them, it's because I don't go out alot. 😅👠
Love the red heels! I usually go through my closet and will place my hangers backwards and then rehang properly when items are worn. If I still have the piece hanging backwards after 2 seasons, it’s gone ( unless it’s a piece I only wear on special occasions. All my heels and shoes are stored in boxes. I place a “Post It Flag” on each box and remove it when I’ve worn those heels, boots, sandals etc.
You made me chuckle about a buckle! I donated a very expensive belt I had because I kept trying it with this outfit and that and choosing something else. I think I never, ever wore it. I finally realized why: it was black, very wide, it had a sheen, and a squarish black buckle...and it reminded me of Santa's belt! NOPE! I have not enough gumption to pull that off.
I stay to the end of all your videos! I learn so much, especially when you're "chatty"! I glean so much from hearing your process! You've helped me say "no" to consumerism and to be creative. I have gotten compliments lately from outfits I put together with items I've had for at least a decade.😲. They are fast fashion, but I've taken care of them and I keep wearing them. Keep up the amazing work!🙌
Pro tip for espadrilles: look for ones that aren't closed at the front (and preferably not at the back either), but rather have straps that are flexible and have an elastic. I have yet to find a more longlasting version of them, but these are so insanely comfortable and they are so effortless that you will find yourself gravitating towards them!
I love watching decluttering videos. Just helps me every time I wear something and it doesn't feel right for me. Easy peasy right to the donation box! Two days ago I wore a pair of black boots ... ok in a bit of snow, in great shape but I'm loving my Blundstones much more.
Oh the espadrilles! I have a dusky rose pair that I adore but they're very high! And a rust pair that are super comfy but they just don't go with 90% of my wardrobe. Maybe it's time for them to move on to new homes.
I loved this style of Video. I am living in Portugal for the last 18 Months. I got great inspiration from what you talked about. I still have a lot of Clothes in Storage in Ireland. When I decide to bring my Clothes out to Portugal next year, I will bear in mind what you spoke about. I too will have to make tough decisions., but it has to be done. This Video came at the right time. It is a wet Sunday in Portugal and I had a mug of coffee.
Alyssa I can totally relate with convincing yourself to buy something and then having trouble letting it go. I got impatient searching second hand for the rectangle Cuyana chocolate croc crossbody like yours and bought the oval shape instead. It’s a beautiful bag but I never reach for it. It hard to get my hand in and out of the round shape and I just wish it was the other one. 🤪
I had 4 pairs of slingback, pointed-toe pumps. I had a pair in each grey, black, chocolate brown & white. I absolutely loved them, but, after I fell & shattered part of my ankle 'I thought', which was my first mistake, that I'd never wear heels again, so I donated them to goodwill... That was 2020, I spent the pandemic shutdown recovering from ankle surgery. Late summer/early fall of this year I discovered that my ankle had healed enough that now I CAN wear heels again & now I'm kicking myself for getting rid of those shoes... I did hold back some of the 'special ones', along with buying some new ones to replace what I donated but I so miss those original four pairs.
Had such a fun time watching you and sharing in your decisions! It really helps me decide what to keep and buy/not buy! You remind me of the big sister that I wish I had! Thanks!
Ha Ha! "I'm not a princess, who am I kidding". Alyssa, this was a fun one. So hard to get rid of beautiful things, especially when they're a designer brand. Going into my closet today to look at shoes and belts. oh lord...
Love the comment”maybe I’m living some fantasy life” as I think that’s why I keep some of my clothes & shoes too!😂
Loved the more chatty format. It was great to hear your thoughts behind the decluttered items. I definitely struggle to declutter beautiful/expensive items that I haven't gotten tas much wear out of as I thought I would. Great tip to apply the three word rule 😊

oooh that does sound like fun Ieva! xx
I'd love to watch a video like that 😍
Yay me too🤩
This year I finally gave up the fantasy that I can wear heels. Only owned 2 pairs and donated them. No more sore feet, knees and back from wearing torture devices. 😄
It's hard to give things up though. I have purses that I keep just in case. Watching you is inspiration.

I am with you on this, I just can't do heels anymore!

The large strabrown bag where you added a strap becomes the perfect tote for times when shopping or needing to carry more than wallet and lipstick. It gorgeous
Who am I? Not a princess! 🤣Love this format, hands on and energizing! Thank you!
Thank you Alyssa! Wonderful to see your process. Thank you for walking us through it. Congrats on making some difficult decisions! You did so well! Big hugs, n💖🌺😊
Great to hear from you Natalya xx hope you're well!

Was really looking forward to this after watching part I. Only you can pull off the Pretty Woman boots. They look so cool on you 😎
For the pretty things that are hard to get rid of because they’re pretty, I always imagine that someone else will be very grateful to have said pretty thing and actually use it and look beautiful in it
Funny I loved that double belt and then you listed all my adjectives ;)
Wow.... I’m glad you kept your black and white bag because it looks so good with your black and white flats, Alyssa! I really identified this video because finding our authentic style and getting real about our true life style takes awhile.
Same here, I think it suits her so well!
I thought the same when the black and white bag came out!

If you sell enough stuff to even pay for half of the Loewe puzzle bag, you need to get it! It’s such a good bag and would suit your style so well!
I completely relate to “it’s beautiful I should keep it “ fantasy self lie that I tell myself 😊
As others have commented, I love how you talk through your decisions. I started talking out loud even if I’m alone while sorting through my closet. It really helps me organize my thoughts.
The shoes were the toughest category to watch. Congratulations.
Yep - 'fantasy life' - resonated with me - so many beautiful things I let go - just not practical sitting in the closet
Can totally relate 😅 Keeping items that are beautiful and also the money we spent on it makes hard to let go 🙃
This video was so helpful! I am still building up my decluttering muscle with regard to clothing and accessories . The way you talk through your process gives me tools that I can use when I go through my closet. Thank you!
You're so much more decisive than I. How you got rid of those gorgeous pumps is beyond me....🤔
I wanted to reach through my phone and snatch them up! 😄 Seriously, tho, your reasoning makes so much sense and it's in keeping with your style points. Love these videos. More please. XXOO ❤️
I totally agree with you on the "if you have not worn" rule. Context is important and often forgotten.
Loved this part 2. Most shocked on the brown bag you let go!
Omg the red bag! Would LOVE to have this one 😀
- so many times, when I was watching your summer vlogs I thought how lovely it is and how much it suits you 😍
I LOVE your brown leather bag and would give it such a good home! I’ll be watching for your decision on what to do with it 😊
I wanted the small Loewe puzzle for ... gosh, 5 years?
Thank you for sharing this in case anyone else is wondering! xx
@@AlyssaBeltempo The puzzle is one of those bags that actually looks best when it's been broke in! It's the perfect balance of slouchy and structured.
Bought mine about eight months ago, and besides the high ticket price, not a moment of regret cents. Such a keeper!
I loved your reaction on the shoes section, you were so real....gosh, I can relate 😄😄😄
I always thought that if I liked something or thought that it was beautiful, that item was "me."
Thanks for being the brick wall that fell on my head. Lol.
So inspirational… how you are able to part with that red purse is beyond me😂😂😂. A good reminder to curate and edit honestly
Thanks, Alyssa, for this continuous video content. Very motivating... 😁
Oh my … I love the navy belt and couldn’t let it go. And the red bag is seasonless and also ideal for evening. I would have kept.
Gee that’s a lot of stuff for a minimalist type person esp the jewelry. .. happy to see those belts go now I’ll look at mine.
The chatty format is fun. I admire your strength to get rid of great shoes!
Love part 1 and 2!! Absolutely adore the red bag - will be watching closely to see if it pops up on the online thrift sites 😊
Also loved this part 2 👌🏽👌🏽
Love that straw bag you let go.I bought one after seeing yours, and am so keeping mine😍
Lovvvving that brown croc camera style bag! ❤
Thanks so much for going through why you are keeping or getting rid of certain pieces of clothing. Letting go of clothing that still fits is really hard for me, but there are items that aren’t really me or fit my current lifestyle, so I don’t wear. You’ve inspired me to take another look at my closet. Thank you.
Great helpful, inspiring video.
Glad you kept the metalics!
Ahh you know me well Kathy!! Hope your belt edit goes well xx
Your struggle is so relatable!
So good!! So helpful to hear your reasoning for things. Love this style video. You have such beautiful taste.
Are we still watching at the end..erm
Of course! I enjoyed this so much! It really felt like we were chatting and going through a declutter together! Loved hearing your thought process.
Really enjoyed this declutter video. It’s fun to listen to you think through your various options.
This couldn't have been more timely! I need aggressive! Thank you!
I admire your ruthlessness. I have trouble letting go of shoes because my size is so hard to find in a cute style. My purse collection is too big
because it's how I change up my everyday uniform. There's always a reason to get a new purse. Oh dear, now I'm feeling guilty
That little brown structured thrifted bag….🥰🥰🥰
Relatable! I work from home, so I usually wear sweatpants and hoodies, except in the summer. I get angry with myself for getting clothes I don't wear all that much. But it's not because I don't like them, it's because I don't go out alot. 😅👠
Always love your content❤ you’ve help me get my own closet in order😊
Love the red heels! I usually go through my closet and will place my hangers backwards and then rehang properly when items are worn. If I still have the piece hanging backwards after 2 seasons, it’s gone ( unless it’s a piece I only wear on special occasions. All my heels and shoes are stored in boxes. I place a “Post It Flag” on each box and remove it when I’ve worn those heels, boots, sandals etc.
Yes! This is a good method too which I love!
Totally enjoyed both of the declutter videos . Actually great fun and entertaining seeing your thought process.
Keep up the amazing work!🙌
LOVE hearing this Lauren THANK YOU 💓
@@AlyssaBeltempo ❤️
Pro tip for espadrilles: look for ones that aren't closed at the front (and preferably not at the back either), but rather have straps that are flexible and have an elastic. I have yet to find a more longlasting version of them, but these are so insanely comfortable and they are so effortless that you will find yourself gravitating towards them!
I love watching decluttering videos. Just helps me every time I wear something and it doesn't feel right for me. Easy peasy right to the donation box! Two days ago I wore a pair of black boots ... ok in a bit of snow, in great shape but I'm loving my Blundstones much more.
This was a super helpful video and has gotten me to add a wardrobe audit to my to-do list!
Love the brown bag from Portugal!
Thank you very much. I need to sort out my belts and bags. Shoes could be an issue and would take some time to organise! 😊 xx
I love how inspired I feel after watching your videos ♥️
I got the black belt and it works instantly! Love seeing it on you!
ahh Lisa thank you so much! I'm so glad you like it ❤
Had such a fun time watching you and sharing in your decisions! It really helps me decide what to keep and buy/not buy! You remind me of the big sister that I wish I had! Thanks!
Loved this video! 🙌
