This was a very powerful story and I was moved by the hardships that those people faced. Most of the Vietnamese people that I've met in my lifetime are hard working and family oriented individuals. I have great respect for them and we are so fortunate to have them here in the United States.
Đại Bác ru đêm - "The sound of cannons lullabies at night" is a song composed by musician Trinh Cong Son. He is known as the greatest musician in Vietnamese history. He is a person who lived under the Republic of Vietnam regime. He did not follow the Communist side, or oppose Communism. He loved peace, most of his music was anti-war music, praising human love and patriotism. People who follow the Communist side, or the Republic of Vietnam side (the anti-Communist side), all love him.
@@trungbui707 I am a Vietnamese, you may be an American but of Vietnamese origin so I will reply in English. I think using the word ''hate'' might be a bit too much. My family is from the North, many of them are Communist Party members. Most of us quite like his music, we actually listen to it openly and share it with others, absolutely no problem at all. My last name is Nguyễn, I have relatives in the South, during the Vietnam War, many of my relatives followed the Republic of Vietnam regime. Luckily, not many people died, a few people had to be interned in communist prisons, and later returned home. They also like to listen to Trinh Cong Son's music and Bolero.
@@trungbui707 The Communist Goverment did not hate him, they respects him for his talent but some of his anti-war songs are banned. Other songs about love, family or patriotism are still very popular and can be played everywhere
Love from China. This end credits song is written by a great Vietnam musician who worked his whole life time to calling for peace and anti-war. And has win the honor of Vietnam GOV. Thanks again for the re-edit work by WaterTower music. Hope all Asian people dont forget that period of history and look forward for a better Asian.

I'm not ashamed to say I started to cry during the ending. A rare and perfect series, bravo to everyone who made it possible.
I cried like a child
I have cried. Respect Trinh Cong Son !!

Very touching 🥲
❤❤❤
❤👏👏
Nice song, i'll use it in my asmr videos 😊😌
