T mcdee, 1 of our top 5 spearing channels, thanks for the constant stoke. We're on the way but a long way to go
Cheers mate, glad you enjoy it!!
thanks for keeping us inspired Tim!
Cheers mate! Glad we are inspiring, one of our goals!!
Your garden is like a little slice of paradise. 🌴
Yes definitely a beautiful place to hang out!!
Wild weather. Way to hang in there and bring them in.
Definitely just snuck it in!!!
Thanks for sharing Tim👍🏾
Cheers mate
Brilliant mate. Such a great educational vid for those who haven’t heard Jew subsurface. Fantastic footage and captures again Timofee, I remember that day when the swell jacked so fast! That was a gnarly bar that evening, the very next morning that poor soul lost his life trying to cross the bar in absolutely treacherous and incredibly dangerous conditions.
Yes, next couple days were incredibly crasy!!!!
Sad to hear of that boat flip the next day!
nice catch before the storm🤙
Cheers mate
Really enjoyed this one , love hearing your thoughts on the hunt !
Cheers Dan!!
Awesome ❤interesting watch will hopefully land a big mulloway one day
I’m sure it will happen!! Glad you’re enjoying our content!!
Great video fantastic please tell me you were not by yourself????
Yeah mate, not my preference but mates pulled out last minute
how far off do you think the whales were from you? thats is wicked
They were jumping and breaching about a hundred meters away
How did you get such a long breath hold
Just by practising and time. I’ve got a number of videos talking about relaxing and how important that is for breathe hold
Excellent video really shows the lead up to a successful Jew hunt. You can even tell what size they are from the croak. Seas are still crazy!! Great video!!
Cheers James!!
Just curious, what shallows to you?
Love the content
About 30 metres😂😂
In this situation the shallows were 10-12 meters
@@Spearfishing-Downunder sweet shallows to me is 3m
If you see sharks do you still dive if youre by yourself?
Hey mate, yeah we see sharks all the time so we get used to diving with sharks. Alone just need to be a bit more wary
@@Spearfishing-Downunder ok interesting, cheers. Thanks for getting back to me.
If you’ve got a sec just one more question, do you tend to avoid murky water in case of sharks?
@@liammorgans7329 sharks aren’t always in the dirty water. I probably try to dive the less sharky areas. But fishy areas usually are sharky
@@Spearfishing-Downunder yeah ok. I just saw a vid of a guy talking about the importance of being able to see the sharks so they cant sneak up on ya so i thought maybe very murky water would be a no go
Cheers
I'm 43years old and can't hold my breath more then 30-second under the water and a bit terrified of sharks to is it too late for me to get into spearfishing and become a good diver ?
Hey mate, it’s never too late. Freediving you can actually get better with age. Getting over those fears and being comfortable in the water is actually and important thing
@@Spearfishing-Downunder tanks mate 👍 I kip trying see if I get batter as I'm getting older
I also started at 43.Youll never dive like someone thats been diving for 30 years. But,with the right mindset, commitment and balls you can shoot some pretty decent fish before youre 50🤣
I'll have to listen for the mulloway sounds next time. I suppose black jew make the same sounds?
There are a number of species that croak. Def black Jew. Grunter aswell up north
