@@John-qk3qi 100 percent agree. The timing of his leaving could not be more perplexing.....something is seriously amiss for Trev to leave in the fashion he did. I don't want to hear speculation, I want to hear the truth....at the very least, Trev owes Husker Nation the truth.

What about accountability on the part of the Board of Regents, that's the next level of leadership above the president who is just above the AD and now both of those have left, why doesn't the Board have to give a response of accountability?
We need more people in our culture who aspire to be puppet masters. They want it both ways...Someone competent who they can pull strings. Drawing the best candidates and retaining them is going to be a challenge when there's a lack of cohesiveness and direction. We have culture issues within leadership.
Trev Alberts has a screw loose. If I was A@M, I'd give this guy a psychological evaluation before turning him loose on the student athletes. Something doesn't sit right with me about Trev.
A&M could’ve hired Rhule a few months ago if they wanted. He made their Top5 list, but they preferred Mike Elko who was on a shortlist for ND, Penn St, and Michigan. Rhule could be great though with QB.
I thought Trev had more integrity than this, I defended his decision on canceling UNO wrestling but I guess I was wrong he didn’t have the level of integrity I expected. No doubt our split Board of Regents is a problem, I would guess it’s about the identity of the university. One side probably has a very woke liberal agenda and the other side understands that UNL athletics is the identity of the state. I have never been asked while traveling around the country about UNL identity politics but I have been asked about football, volleyball, wrestling, baseball or other sports. Very sad for our University!
