@@artoftravelling I am a devout Hindu from eastern India, and for me, the Amer Fort evoked in me some mixed feelings because of its history. It was created by a Hindu king who betrayed his own countrymen and fought against his own people. I am from Eastern India, and it was here in the 1590s that Man Singh came with his army and desecrated our temples, fought battles with Hindu kings, and committed some form of Hindu genocide. I would recommend that you visit Udaipur, the home of heroic Rajput Kings like Maharana Pratap.
I also came back from Jaipur 3 days ago. We visited this Amer fort on Monday. It is truly an enchanting place with several Historical narratives.
Glad you had a great time at the Amber Fort, it’s really enchanting!
