    The Lordaeron circle thing is something along the lines you knew it was wrong, but you just didn't pay enough attention to figure it out. I hate that feeling. But anyway, if it truly is true, could the Gassing of Lordaeron at the start of BfA have another role other than to blow the Alliance? Alleria got a weird chill there, sure, it's associated with that little rock falling/ticking sound, but what if it was the Void calling to her a warning about that?

    • @thedreadexpanse3817
      @thedreadexpanse3817  4 роки тому +6

      I agree I think the gassing did serve another purpose. I mean its always bothered me that Syl decided to leave the throne intact (or at least by in game standards). If this theory is accurate I'd assume the purpose was to clear out the city for something later. As for Alleria I also agree, if this theory is correct the void sensed something. I mean whats rather ironic is that if this is true, the light and the shadow basically had the same reaction to whatever power Syl is playing with. As in Anduin/Shalamayne to the threat in-front for them and the Shadow to the hidden threat around them.

    I wanted to add to your theory;
    Edit - I messed up, was still drinking my coffee. Mixed soul with will.
    ICC was a titan-forged facility not yet in operation awaiting the birth of a new Titan, the Death Titan, Argus. He was supposed to facilitate balance when souls passed from that plain to the next, since he was taken over and his energy harvested to fuel the burning legion, that never happened. ICC fell into disuse, but the dark energies there prompted others to pick up the "work" without any guidance. You couple that with the fact that Yogg-Saron is trapped below, and you can guess how the facility of death became a twisted version of what it's intended purpose was (even though the name seems fitting even now). Twisted by Void 100%. ICC was intended to be a third facility meant to empower the body of of Azeroth. You had the forge of wills, the forge or origination, and the forge of ______ (one would assume "spirit", since the LK can stretch his own will out vastly outwards and enforce it on others under influence).
    Since that forge is corrupted, it's likely that no one on Azeroth has ever had true freedom over their souls, and instead their overall destiny is controlled by un-sean forces. Just a pipe-theory that one. However, the loa's existence gives credence to it, the shadowlands has always had influence, seeing as the trolls where essentially the first race on Azeroth. They where not titan-forged affected with the curse of flesh like all the other races ;)....and...who infected them with the curse of flesh? It's not far of a venture to assume the curse of flesh is far more devious than just making them squishy.
    Silvanas; "I will set us all free"
    Also Silvanas; almost remorsefully "How can I convince you...."
    I believe because of this the shadowlands has never really been working correctly in it's relationship with Azeroth. The power released in the helm was a tipping point, like if you where to inject air into two soap bubbles close to each-other. Shadowlands being one soap bubble, and Azeroth being another, the air being souls. What happens when they get too big?
    I'd love to hear your thoughts, if you have a discord add me, Dr.Cosmar#3461.

    Don't know if you've already mentioned it and I've missed it somehow but while doing research into Wildhammer dwarves for the new customization options of a dwarf shammy I've got for RP, I came across a bit of lore relating to the Twilight Highlands I hadn't discovered before known as Northeron (wow.gamepedia.com/Northeron, which is quite interesting because its literally North + Lordaeron. Furthermore, it's interesting to note the following details:
    "It was known for its mysterious ironwood tree forests,[3] the torrential storms from its frozen mountains,[4] ominous and foreboding peaks,[5] and jagged ice cliffs.[6]"
    If the lands were connected at some point to Northrend, I say the connection comes from the Twilight Highland side of the Eastern Kingdoms and the remnants of such a connection lingered after the Shattering. So, to both your speculations on the titan structures connecting both areas and this video, I actually believe you have a strong argument to make.

    I noticed there is another lordaeron "plate" outside the throne room, it is located on the roof of the tomb of Terenas. There, the runes are turned towards the throne (the sun side points towards the throne).
    In the meantime, I wonder what is the meaning of the two skulls we see in the Halls of Reflection that are not in the Lordaeron plate.
    Also, I have been triggerd by the seat of Terenas, I'm sure the style of this seat has something to do with, eather the style of the transmog from the heroic shadowlands preorder, or symbols from Halls of valor, I cannot figure it out, maybe I'm 100% wrong ahah

    There is a contradiction in your halls of reflection idea tho. Back in W3: Frozen Throne, the hallways of ICC wasnt adorned yet like what we saw in WOTLK. Remember ICC in W3: FT was just a a glacier with a long stairwell and chains. Not only did it not have halls, heck it didnt even have a roof. So I think, Arthas prolly had the Halls of Reflections designed that way out of an ego trip
    Also Nerzhul's spirit is gone, the one inside the artifact item was merely an echo

    • @thedreadexpanse3817
      @thedreadexpanse3817  4 роки тому

      My general response is, its not a contradiction, its just we only saw the Frozen Throne in Warcraft 3. We didn't see anything else. So in one way, yes, you can assume ICC was only a glacier, the long stair case and chains. On the other hand its possible we didn't see everything and there were other parts of ICC that existed before Arthas created the ICC of today. This theory goes along with the latter assuming there may have been something else but I do see you point and its a very likely possibility.

    • @aputoy9627
      @aputoy9627 4 роки тому

      I don't think it is possible imho. In the ending of the cinematic of Arthas's ascension and the main menu of W3: FT, it shows that there wasn't a citadel yet constructed around the glacier, it was literally just a naked glacier with stairs and chains exposed to the environment. The Halls of Reflection is literally the room before the throne room iirc, thus at the top floor of the citadel. Considering that the citadel itself didn't exist at that time, that would go the same for that very same hall. I believe the Lordaeron throne room and the HoR floor logo was just a coincidence

      @@Floaty98 I am aware of the difference. But the artifact weapon wasn't what I was referring to. There is a literal legendary glove that holy paladins can get that states it's Tyr's literal hand.

    • @thedreadexpanse3817
      @thedreadexpanse3817  4 роки тому +1

      Well... the ones in legion are a pair of gloves not, a glove. Now minus my own snark, good questions. To why I think Teranis shouldn't have known. I assume you've played the Blades of the Fallen Prince quest line in legion. When the Frostmounre was shattered it was made quite apparent that the souls inside the shards can have their preconceptions alter. The Arthas and Ner'zhul situation. (Unless you think I completely misunderstood the scenario) If this is what can occur while the blade is broken, I figure its reasonable to assume that when it was together, altering the prescription of those within would have been incredibly easy. With this in mind it would be a rather ugly show of incompetence on the Lk's part if he let Uther and Terenis figure out everything related to the blade, the Lich king and how to defeat him, if they were imprisoned souls and were basically at the beck and call of the blade. (To me that situation literally comes across as the cliche bad guy revealing his plan in front of the heroes, just so he can be defeated later.) It seems reasonable to assume Tearnis (and in part Uther) had some form of prior knowledge of what was going on with the LK before they went into the blade, and considering the confirmations during legion that the humans had connections to Druidsum and Shamanism a very long time ago. On top of all the other lore out there, the logical leap doesn't seem to be that far-fetched.
      As for why I think the hand disappeared. I guess the first question is do think the chronicle image is to size or exaggerated? I think its to size. Secondly and seriously this time, they are pair of gloves, so even if they came from the actual hand, the implication is that it was melted down, but then the follow up in this case is by who, how did the gloves get to the isle, as well as where is the rest of the hand. And that's just one possibility. Overall I guess something that big, immobile and most importantly revered, doesn't just disappear. I've thoroughly speculated on what might have happened to the hand within the context of another theory. It just happens while I was making this theory, I realized the simplest answer to what happened to hand is that the Amani trolls may have destroyed it in spite, plunder or another reason.
      I hope these answers are satisfactory.

    • @SloidVoid
      @SloidVoid 4 роки тому

      @@thedreadexpanse3817 I'm just going to respond to the Tyr's hand part. The legendary clearly states it's his literal hand. It's only a game mechanic that it appears on both hands of the player. Not only does the title only state it's a singular "hand" but also the flavor text explains it's the glove crafted for Tyr. The reason it's so small is because Tyr had the ability to modify his size. It's states he has this ability in the Dawn of the Aspects novel.

    • @thedreadexpanse3817
      @thedreadexpanse3817  4 роки тому

      @@SloidVoid I know he did. And where I would like to agree that is a game mechanic, there is no way Blizz can implement different style shoulder pads on each shoulder but not different style gloves on each hand.
      That said if there is evidence contradicting that statement you can shut me down right now. I'll admit now my knowledge of the technical side of wow is lacking.
      And lets say those gloves are the hand of Tyr. Still doesn't explain how they ended up one the isle and why it seemingly went missing considering its supposed to be Landmark in Tirisfal glade.
