This was one of the shows Disney MGM specifically for their park guests to make use of the space while LMAD wasn't taping. At that point, they had scheduled five shows a day, and played it as true to the original concept as they could within the prize budget they were allowed. This recording was never meant to be broadcast.

If if we're taped Dec 26th and then announced to watch LMAD every day with Monty Hall, it was a sudden cancellation. It may also have been the chance to get Wheel of Fortune back to nbc that prompted the LMAD cancellation
