@@amodulares Absolutely. The sound systems in the clubs of California were amazing in the 80's. This song and many others were played and it was an incredible experience.

That place must be recreated with the original ambience in which the group rehearsed and turned into a museum. The future and humanity deserve it. I exaggerate but just a little.
I remember me and my cousin went to see them perform live at East Orange high school in East Orange, New Jersey in 1980. They were the openin' act for another group called Young & Company. 'Was a good show.
Oh wow you just brought back memories of "Catch One Club" in Los Angeles CA. The dj would spin this joint and it was ova. The bass was so deep it vibrate the floor and drove everyone into a frenzy. Miss those good times.
I was 7 when this record was released, but I remember it being in heavy rotation back in the day. This song always makes me think of Summertime, cookouts, bike riding, and roller skates
Classic old skool Chi town house head music!! Back yard jamming throughout the city, especially the Southside,Wild Wild 100's. Leon's BBQ sauce, dipped in chocolate chip cookie dough. In such a mighty way!!

i love this song, and recently heard it for the first time in a while, and it’s been stuck in my head ever since. the thing is, i forgot the name, AND all of the lyrics. the only thing i remembered was "i hear music in the streets" but not the actually words - just what it sounds like(?) *i know this makes no sense* anyways, the point is that i finally found the song after going on a google deep dive for a half hour.
