- I was watching the Red's game on April 3, 2014 on Fox Sports Ohio. Chris Heisey hit a foul ball behind first base foul territory. A fan managed to steal a foul from Matt Adams. If you watch closely, Matt Adams actually shoves the fan with his glove. Well, the fan got a bit too personal afterwards...
Update 4/4/14: According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, they interviewed that fan and the fan said they were actually on crutches for recovering from knee surgery. So in the long run, Matt Adams shoved a man on crutches... - Розваги
That fan saved an out.
Trashy or not, it's still epic.
Sittin right next to him down first base line and saw Adams give the fan a healthy shove. It wasnt like a good catch guy kinda push. It was a big FU push. So players can go into stands and push fans but we get arrested if we go on the field.... Adams you are a little cry baby....
I'm sure you were, "Michael Jordan." I'll take your surely unbiased word on it.
Maybe he should have kicked him with his spikes like Johnny Queerto
what a legend, party on dude
And also the tarp is always out if an unexpected storm comes
Was at a game a few years back where Yadier Molina lost control of his bat. It helicoptered into the third row where it split open a young girl's head. Blood immediately began flowing heavily from her head. The fear in her eyes was very hard to watch. No Cardinals apology or get well gifts were provided to this sweet young girl, so I have little to no sympathy for any of these schmucks.
It's terrible when that happens, but it's a risk you accept when you go to a baseball game.
All stadiums post warnings at the beginning of every game to be aware of all of your surroundings at all times. A ball (or a bat) can fly out at any time.
well this comment escalated quickly . lol
Sports are competitive, get over it.
Any other sport that player is suspended for 5 games and ESPN will analyze it for a week.
***** That foul was a good 4-5 feet out of the field. If the fan HAD NOT caught it, it's possible that ball could have drilled someone. If a player is super close to you, you are likely to pay more attention to them than a ball, so a lot of people could have been hurt, but that single fan helped keep that ball from hitting someone else.
***** I will strongly grant you that Adams could have had it had the tarp roll not been there, but it was and it was only there because they were on a (nearly) 4 hour rain delay that day.
There should be fan interference if he's able to get a chance to catch the ball then the fan should get out of the way Matt Adams if I were you that fan would be picking his teeth up off the ground after flipping me off.
Stay classy Cincy lol
You're funny. Cardinal fans have absolutely no room to talk about other teams. I've seen the way you guys act in Cincinnati and Pittsburgh.
@@mayavenuemisfit814 Man you’re 9 years late to this party lol
I mean Meta World Peace beat up 2 fans and he's still in the league, why should this guy get suspended?
i wanna be him when i grow up
What's sad is Adams will probably get a fine for playfully teasing a fan that can't take a joke. Adams should've jacked the guy to at least make it worth it
Cinci fans are still pissed because they can't win the Central. Get over it. If you take emotion out of the game, it's not baseball anymore. We're making everything vanilla we're not supposed to show emotion. WE ARE ROBOTS!(kidding). Let'em play and get the hell out of their way.
Very classy fans REDS have.
N O T.
First, the LOSER taunts Adams with his glove and the ball..THEN he and his LOSER friends FLIP OFF Adams. Lovely. ;0
That should've been an interference call since the fan didn't get out of player's way..
And the fan should have been ejected for taunting and his friends as well for the the vulgar finger gestures. That could have caused a huge fight/riot with ppl getting injured!!
Rivalries in sports are awesome but not when ppl's safety is at stake...players/fans/umpires-refs all included!

So you claim Adams was taunted and then flipped off but exclude the shove? Being selective with the facts you choose to omit is sadly half this country's definition of being classy.
I've seen how visiting Cardinal fans act at Great American Ball Park. You guys have absolutely no room to talk about bad behavior from fans of other teams. So one of our fans flipped one of your players off? Big deal. Cry me a river, build a bridge, and get over it.
That blonde girl's pretty hot
finally a comment that's not negative lol
lol thank you.
He's luck Adams is a nice guy. I'd smashed him in the face with my glove hand. Maybe that guy was trying to show Adams his WS Replica ring from the Reds gate giveaway? Oh wait... They haven't won in how many years?? From the looks of that guy I doubt they were his seats. Wait until the seat owner gets a certified letter from the front office warning his/her seats are revocable for unbecoming behavior of the occupants. Happens more than you think. Keep it classy Cincinnati.
wait, your players are gonna dive into the stands and push our fans. Your talking shit about us not winning world series and your telling us to keep it classy, sheeesh delusional hyprocrite
