I wish someone would come up with something like this for general aviation. I'm sure there are others like myself that really aren't primarily into commercial aviation and would love to see the thousands upon thousands of dead airports actually have some life added to them.

Adding GA is on our list to do. A lot of models already done, just need more and then liveries and the coding work but it's in the roadmap, rest assured.

@@Kreemerz No that's not the case. In your mind it should have been completed but it was never part of our original plan for release so it shouldn't have been completed as yet. Others suggest cargo should have been completed, x, y or z models should have been completed, x,y or z liveries should have been completed. None of that factually correct because we never promised any of it for release. If we had and had failed on our promises I'd be agreeing with you. Hope that helps. Have a good weekend.

It works for me except at inibuilds LAX…but I’m most impressed with the ability of it to display way more aircraft while getting much much better fps than using FSLTL that displays less aircraft
Thanks for the video. I really enjoying watching your stuff even if it's not about the 757 haha. I like FS traffic a lot but my biggest complaint is how it needs to know your destination airport in order to generate traffic on the route. Ideally, it should have an option to generate traffic within a certain radius (that is adjustable ) so that if you want to do VFR flying or have a diversion from your route, you'll still have traffic. Otherwise I absolutely love it. All my other complaints have to do with the default ATC and AI system. I hope Asobo makes this a priority to fix. It is an absolute immersion killer for me to have aircraft waiting at the hold short point forever and then disappear or have multiple go arounds because the spacing is too close. There are many other issues I can go on forever :)
Thanks for the video. I'm so glad you went to JFK as that is usually the airport I fly out of. I installed FS traffic going from FSLTL and right away I loved the 4K models and the extra sounds. The takeoffs seem to be sharper and more realistic making them fun to watch. I also like the ease of use over FSLTL. My biggest issue was that the airports seemed dead, at least initially. There seems to be less planes and no way to increase the amount. It also takes a loooong time for the planes to get moving and this happens 100% of the time, no matter what time you load in, which breaks immersion. I do agree that when it gets going, after like 10 minutes, it becomes fun to watch the activity in the airport, especially at night. It did concern me because I went to a small international airport in the Middle East, I don't remember which one, but I was one of 3 planes, it felt weird. Even Dubai International felt a bit low in numbers when I loaded in there. Lastly, I'm confused at the setting recommendations, things like boats and fauna down to zero, and airport vehicles down to zero, however, when I turned those back up, it didn't affect it much. So why do they recommend that? Either way, I like the positives of this addon but might put FSLTL back in again just for comparison sake.
Thanks for the review! I normally don't post comments but felt compelled too in this case. I purchased this product 4 days ago after reading about it and watching another UA-camrs review. After using FS Traffic intensely for the last 4 days, adjusting every single setting also, I have to say I'm completely underwhelmed and strongly feel I might have wasted my money. I do agree the models are fantastic especially considering on the performance side you defiantly save some frames with this product. That said, the reason , in my not so humble opinion, for such decent frame performance is that there is UNREALIUSTICLY little movement of the AI aircraft sitting so nice and comfy at the gates! It's almost a joke to me at this point. I'm a big fan of AI traffic when it works halfway decent. Obviously the biggest hurdle for achieving that is the sim program itself which has not really improved in this area at all going all the way back to FSX nor do I think it ever will. :-( For me, I'm willing to give up frames for more traffic movement and less detailed aircraft. That is way more immersive than a bunch of pretty hanger queens which is what FS traffic produces just without the hangers. Yes this is a rant and I'm sorry but I had such high hopes for this program. In my opinion if you are going to release a program that does the something as its predecessors / competitors and you charge for it, you better make sure it is a better value than the others which this is not. The last decent AI setup for me was AIG running with P3D 5.0. At least those airports actually WERE busy and not potentially busy. Anyway keep up the great work! Love your channel!!!
I was doing some 747 flying over the Atlantic from EHAM - KJFK with about 3-4 planes in the sky. So if it adds more planes to remote places & all you do is put the destination in, then this could be the answer, more life in the big bubble. lol, Just Flight for me soon. Intresting to see how it is compared with the A32x team traffic injector. But I'll probably pick this utility up in the year. Only as I love a lot of JF products and get a lot of joy out of them.

Not worth it for me.
1. Jorg/ASOBO said multiple times they've been negotiating the rights with the airlines and will bring real traffic officially to the native sim at some point.
2. While we wait, or even if that doesn't happen, FSLTL is currently a better FREE option that keeps improving. I wouldn't be surprised if Asobo decides to partner with FSLTL like they do with Working Title and others when they are ready for this.
3. Schedule based traffic is literally outdated. Live traffic approach in FSLTL and even the default traffic is more modern and superior and adds more immersion for me and also tends to get better as the sim and the addon are updated to better support live traffic.
You forgot no cargo planes and GA, and very little enroute traffic 😉. Pros are: nice models and you can fly at times that would have very little traffic (night).
@@FSLTL Agreed. This is a completely unnecessary release given what's coming to the sim and the fact that a better and more modern FREE option is already available. Feels like someone got their hands on some old schedules and models and is trying to make some quick money in MSFS while there's still time... and from the comments, it's already showing how rushed this is...
Yeah, people still don't seem to realize MSFS drastically changed the Flight Sim landscape. Gone are the old days where you needed a million addons of every kind. Core sim functionality like weather, traffic, satellite images, etc, are now expected and being provided in the core sim so you don't need to buy band-aid addons like Active Sky anymore. Not perfect yet, but great for a default feature compared to any other sim and keeps improving. MSFS is at least a 10 year project and they said many times the goal is to make all of this as realistic as possible over time. In my opinion, with a few exceptions, the only addons we should be paying for are planes and airports. Unless you are really impatient, you should not be paying for traffic, weather and other addons that should now be part of the core sim. Use free options like fsltl for now if you can't wait.
@@TheShadowCt It was 18 months in development so not rushed at all. Thousands of users are out there now using it nicely and enjoying the experience. It's a different set up to FSLTL, which is a great little program by the way but FST offers something different. The models and liveries are top notch and they cost us a lot of time and money to get developed. Some teething problems with CTD issues )now fixed and update live) and destination traffic issues are being worked on now to improve the experience further for all users. Hopefully that update will be out next week. The dev team are hard at work on it currently. Thanks for your interest.
Live traffic is useless for some players like me, as I fly at night or different regions. More often than not there is no live traffic in that region at that time.
I wish FSLTL could use sim time instead of real-time, but that is probably hard to do.

I have the product and I'm still getting to know it, but I'm pretty sure when you reduced the JFK traffic density from 100% to 50% you needed to first click remove traffic then regenerate. I don't recall if I read that or saw that in their prerelease video but I think that would have made a difference in the amount of aircraft you saw and possibly fps. Thanks.
Thanks for the detailed explanation! However, I think I may wait for a few more updates before I consider buying it again. There’s simply not enough traffic going on and I am very satisfied with FSLTL which is free and has been working very well after several updates.
dont buy it . all videos show only when you spown at the airport . i tried several times to work with FS traffic . all works fine but worse then fsltl . FSLTL is much better for now . for that price i will compare this do e175 and early access . EPIC Fail . Its looks like early access .
If you have a cargo point of entry like we do here in Peoria, Ill., you qualify as an International Airport.
Why kill off all of the (land and sea) AI traffic? That ruins the feeling of realism.

"Set It & Forget It", Well, not really, you have to continually enter your destination for it to work. Not a fan of that.
how does this compare to fsltl? i have been using fsltl and it seems as good as this, for free. what are your thoughts, if you've tried both?
My only issue with FSLTL is the train of planes whenever an airport is loaded. I also get a huge performance hit on approach to large airports like KLAX. Though that issue might also be added to by the fact that I run dual monitor
I believe AAU1 update was just released last night to the public now. I’m not in the program but yet still have AAU1 updates working.
I think you first have to hit "Remove traffic" before clicking "Regenerate traffic", otherwise it won't regenerate anything. The injector is quite broken, after removing and regenerating the traffic a few times in a row, traffic won't reappear.
On another note, the framerate impact is only negligible just after starting your flight. Once you have 40-50 aircraft moving around you, the FPS impact is quite heavy, similar to FSLTL.
Do you think they’ll ever have AIFP for MSFS 2020? I liked that program when I used to run FS 2004.
I have had it since release and it’s good I wish it had the cargo planes and it seems like the arrival airport plane’s spawning is hit or miss but it works well with vatsim and when I’m at an airport I’m not familiar with its great to have the right airlines at the gates
If I limit my frame rate to 30. Will it then eat from that, or just have better performance?
Maybe after some updates. No GA traffic is my big issue.

Don't like the idea that you have to set a destination in order for traffic to show up at other airports. That's not really a "set it and forget it"

the change to 50% didnt change the amount of loaded aircraft. Perhaps your test should have exited out and load traffic back in at 50%
If I had seen more than one aircraft rolling on the tarmac, I would consider purchasing it. I'm looking for a way to get airport traffic in msfs. The default AI traffic in msfs is non-existent for me.
Many users, a very good percentage have the traffic you talk of. Other areas where it's more sparse we're working on now, expect an update quite soon.

Thanks for this video. You rightly pointed out the disappointing lack of activity from other aircraft. The amount of traffic at KJFK is indeed laughable and maybe amounts to 20% of real life traffic. It's a systemic issue in FS Traffic that impacts all airports, and it has a few root causes, including:
- FS Traffic flight plans being from 2022, i.e. immediately post Corona, which means much less aircraft movements. It would have been better to release the 2019 flight plans first (which they will do soon).
- Many flights in their 2022 flight plans only depart on a certain day of the week, as can be seen in the Schedules menu in the FS Traffic Control Centre, which even further reduces the number of flight movements at any given day.
- FS Traffic has no models or liveries for lots of aircraft that appear in their flight plans. It means that lots of traffic that should occur according to plan won't spawn at all as there is no model or livery available.

You are using almost identical hardware as i am, with the acception of the cpu, i am using a 13600k at 5.5 ghz and its a 14 core 20 thread, with ddr4 3600 32gb. My higher cpu clock speed, seems to make a pretty large difference. I am holding 45fps at JFK.

If you’re like me, the reason you don’t fly into the big airports is because you’ve been simming so long that you got used to avoiding them and the huge FPS drop. This is the first sim where my computer actually can handle it, top of the line system, but I still avoid the likes of London and New York.
I wonder how this will get along with FSLTL? I'm guessing not at all, and the choice will come down to one-or-the-other.
You can use them together and FSLTL now has a facility to inject the FST models so good news for all.

the only real downside is that you have traffic only at your departure airport, at cruise (but waaaaay too less) and on destination airport. in between airports are the same ghost-cities as they were before. no takeoffs or landings on other airports. the flight plan manager just injects traffic that is directly in your area and designated to your departure/arrival airport. still bought it as I really dont like to always fly on live traffic with fsltl
Update soon covering destination airport traffic and other more minor issues. The team are working on that now. Slightly puzzling as it works for some but for others. Please bear with us.

Great video and explanation, I’m very disappointed of the product. Definitely not worth $39.99. I like the details on the aircrafts and sounds a little bit but the aircraft’s placements are completely off; JFK being my home airport on pretty much every flight; FSTL does a better job. T5 is known for being Jetblue’s terminal and FS Traffic has some other airlines in this terminal, something FSTL does a lot more accurate. Hopefully some updates will come and get all that fixed, in the meantime I keep enjoying FSTL. Thanks for the video!!
Agree with the price tag being steep and there are other issues that are preventing me from choosing this over fstl. However, proper gate placement isn't on this mod but has more to do with the AFCAD of the airport you're at having the correct gate assignments.
@@odracir0323 I agree, I guess fixes will come later down the line. It’s a promising concept, it’s just FSTL brings more accuracy at least at the airports I usually flight at.
@rterrero05 for sure. My only annoyance right now with fstl is just having planes disappear because the data gets updated and they're no longer on the ground. Other than that I've found it to do pretty well for immersion with the updates they've done.

I love this simulator mainly for GA and VFR flying. So far, there doesn't seem to be much love for GA here. Great for the airliner jockeys though.

I must be doing something wrong here. I've downloaded it and followed the instructions but I get a crash to desktop as soon as I click Ready to Fly
I had the same problem. A addon to record flights was causing it to crash. Uninstall all from the comunity folder abd save to a file on your desktop. Then one by one reload until you find the onevwith the probkem.

Good review for average simmer. Not a very good review for hardcore. Need to have add-on scenery with a demanding air craft like PMDG or Fenix compared with FSTL not default.
I purchased this and I think it was a waste of money. I follow all the steps, set the flight and all I see SOMETIMES are planes park and maybe 1 plane taking off. So I don't know if is msfs or the fstraffic. It just don't work for me. I don't see an active airport. $40.00 Bucks to see one jet in all this time in an airport like JFK?
I like many others it appears cant get it to work even after following all the instructions. Very dissapointed. I am in australia - FSLTL is ok but being live traffic if i fly in europe in morning my time its middle of night there and so get a lot of fedex typw flights and not much traffic with no way to change. This i was hoping would be better so can have traffic based on time of day i set. But no i cant get it to work at moment. trying a reinstall but if doesnt work again its gone and i'll be back to FSLTL. There are many like me on forums and youtube comments at moment.
Just to add - reinstalled, spawned at KDFW. Some fo the jetways did move but any planes were invisible, non -existent. removed traffic then tried to regenerate and nothing. This is just another GSX Pro frustration piece. I'll be asking for a refund but of course i'll be ignored by the developers. Rubbish, dont buy it. Just being honest.
@@TeamSethRules you can fix this via the manager under the aircraft manager tab and turn off ground service.
@@kcappa So if i turn off ground service from within FST then i should see traffic being injected, is that what youre saying?
twotonemurphy did a great deep dive into this yesterday and had some great troubleshooting solutions. I'm going to wait a couple of weeks for them to iron out some of these issues before purchase but I like what I'm seeing so far and like you I am very interested in the historic flight schedule
@@kcappa Turned it off after reinstalled. Worked once but any flights after that, no traffic even with ground services. To answer your question overkill, total waste of money, fuming!

Big weakness of this addon: The AI move painfully slowly while taxiing and take ages to line up and take off. Maybe you can speed this up with other addons like AI ground. The time between starting the app and the first movement is like watching paint dry. That said, the models do look very impressive. The sounds are disappointing - lacking in a proper Jet engine sound and no "roar" on take off. Perhaps JF will improve things in time. Meantime I think you can speed up the initial start to first AI movement by simply doubling the sim rate, or quadrupling it, just until movement starts.
You like it because the model matching is so good? LOL, of course it is, it uses pre made flight schedules for the airlines it has. It's not matching anything.
Now that's tricky.
We will never get a perfect AI traffic in this sim unfortunately. FSX was way ahead of MSFS in terms of AI traffic compatibility 😁
If you have to set road and sailing vessels to zero its rather a realism killer in my opinion. Many of us want more variety, not less and having to kill everything that ads life to the sim so that some planes appear at just two airports with half a dozen on route is not encouraging at all. All the airports on route are empty too, again not very realistic. I will stick with FSLTL for live and AIG for global flights where the time difference minimises live traffic.
I'll wait for a few updates before I purchase. Asobo need to give Justflight less restrictions so they can get these aircraft moving alot quicker on the taxiways and maybe some rolling starts on the runways to get the traffic flowing better. Especially when you're waiting behind.

@@OverkillSimulations Not on the beta. I have tried removing GSX and FSRealistic, Reinstalls, reboots, system updates, plus whatever JustFlight sent me since they stopped corresponding with me. The only way I've been able to get it to work was by disabling all ground services, which completely defeats the purpose of the product. I have since requested a refund.

JFK nothing moving, not in my experience, $39.95 for parked airplanes? To the good people who have worked on this, realistically animate the the traffic and get real on the price tag.
Buggy mess. It causes issues with Gsx as well.. Atleast for me.

I think that's an Asobo issue. Unfortunately, the way the Sim selects runways is often quite mistaken.
It is not convenient, it does the same things as other free products and has the same bugs

I didn't watch the whole video it's abit long, for me fsltl is free and is definitely good enough, I'm becoming weary of youtubers making videos about half baked payware. Soon as I seen the price I just laughed and moved on..
I like this channel, but I'm also tired of youtubers promoting unnecessary and half baked addons. Making a video Informing about the release is fine, but his videos feels more a more like an ad for a bad product. "Set and forget?" Really?
Totally agree. There is more to it than set and forget. No GA, No cargo, no 757 or 767. Not worth the 40.00. FSTL will use both their library and the AIG model library for matching, which adds a ton of traffic. To use the FSLTL model library with FS Traffic one has to manually add the specific model you want to use with FS Traffic in database. Reminds me of Ultimate Traffic 1 and 2 from Flight1 for P3D and FSX. Outdated schedules? Even AIG updates their schedules weekly. Also, no traffic at airports other than your departure and destination airports. What if you have to divert? I guess you divert to an empty airport.
I am becoming more and more critical of this channel. 9 times out of 10 he recommends half baked products. I will probably look elsewhere for better reviews.
Yeah I don't want to shoot the messenger, I appreciate content creators, enjoy seeing what they post for us, new products and reviews. I have years of experience with tech, and can see when something is worth it due, I'll be giving fs traffic a pass, just as I did with fsx.

We're confident that this offers good value for money. 18 months of solid development work, top quality models and liveries, adding traffic in a different way to other programs so offering choice. Many thousands of users are out there and getting a lot out of the add-on and it will only improve. Some teething issues for some with destination traffic, the team are hard at work sorting that now and we hope to be able to update soon. Fine if it's not for you but not sure why you'd have a problem with the content creator. He's stated pros and cons for you all to consider. The price might be too high for some but others have spent on it and are enjoying it. Thanks for your words and feedback of course.
@@pilotguy27 Your opinion and of course you're entitled to it but taking issue on some points...GA, Cargo and the airliners you mention are coming down the line, we've not advertised they'd be included. All FS models can now be used in FSTL now which has gone down well and people are using nicely. The point of FST was to do things differently and not offer live traffic. Other schedules will be added too, what you have now is a snapshot of one week's traffic. Lots of people like the fact it's that way and not using live traffic. If you divert, bring up the menu and add a new airport code in. Again part of the design to offer a more bespoke offering and to help with performance. If it's not for you then fine but it is being used extensively now and a lot of users are getting a lot from it and are enjoying it. If users take a little time to read the manual and then reference FAQs and even the Quick Start Guide video that we produced to help you'll then find it is very simple to set-up and get using. Unfair I think on the reviewer here, he's given a review and state his honest thoughts. We have no say and no involvement at all in the content. Thank you.

Well, is it worth the Money. If you put all of the addons it would cost, you about $4,000. And if you like nothing but updates then it's for you. They still have not fixed all problems even with 400 + updates. Kind of like Vista when it came out. Microsoft is nothing but a cash cow that throws programs out there that are not finished. No, it's not worth it.
