now gladrien is r1 sheesh, get another parody video, thank god he is eu so i get to keep the historical log. Time to add rank 1 (non externals) to the title.
After studying the Frost guide video for a few hours last night and then watching this video, it's pretty clear that I'm gonna need a much larger mindset shift on how to play ST Frost. It looks like I'm casting ~30% more Frostbolts than you are, due to trying much harder to get to 4/5 Icicles before sending a GS + Flurry, _and then_ casting COS / Ray. Watching you send Flurrys so often at 1/2 Icicles is breaking my brain haha, but I think the new rotational complexity is really exiting and having something to strive for like your performance here is really cool.
I always see people either run the double passive trinket with essence and vessel or vessel with spoils but I never see the rotcusted voodoo doll while that thing sims higher than spoils for me? Does it not sim higher for you or is it just a bait trinket?
yeah it wont show if you used flurry before combat started. To fix this from ever occurring you can go into load settings and uncheck "only load in combat". That will cause it to show always but fix the issue.
I am struggling with stats so far and what trinkets to use: spoils are not so popular, but I see why you are using that - is there any reasoning to choose between sphere and phial?
Yo Manather, how the hell do you manage to hit the K on your keyboard, so fast everytime, for Glacial Spike? the K button on the keyboard is pretty far from the WASD setup
I don't personally use K, but I would imagine it's 1 of 2 scenarios: 1. Mouse button 2. Big hands. I can pretty easily hit K with my thumb b/c I have bear paws for hands. That's definitely a double edged sword
Hey, great video. I've watched your previous tutorial and could you please confirm that if I don't have a flurry charge or brainfreeze and not fingers of frost it's okay to just cast frostbolt and wait for something to proc or come off cooldown?
Yes, this is explicitly stated in his video and outlined at the bottom of the ST priority list. If you're in Icy Veins, send the Glacial Spike regardless of if you can get Winter's Chill on the target or not, but if you're out of IV wait for a Flurry proc.
I did a Heroic run with Arcane and it definitely feels a bit worse. The removal of a +40% dmg increase caused the burst of Arcane to be tampered down quite a bit, and my overall dmg definitely didn't seem as high. I also had to spend some time updating my macros because of the Arcane Barrage cooldown removal

I love your videos. But can you make your videos with game sound?
mage has gotten better since the rework but stuff like comet storm being position based and not target based still keeps room for being annoyed
That feels like the only problem really. Frost is really fun atm.
They should make each comet storm tick independently tracks the target instead of only tracking it if casted
sometimes that snow flake weakaura isn't working on pull and i ended up using 2 flurries instead thinking there isn't winter chill buffs

Did you run any sims for the new mega dungeon trinket it seems op in m+ doesn't it ?
Simmed worse in st for me, so id rather run double passive or stick with spoils

Yeah, if you dont have flurry or fof you cast frostbolt waiting to proc something. Or you cast shifting power but odds are its on cd.
Hey Manather in 2t we send Glacial spike as we build up icicles even without winters chill?
Yes, he said that in the vid too
@@nerodavola1529 fan that is crazy lol
Is arcane worth playing?

@@TylerJBrown192 arcane surge increase spell damage for 45% vs 10% before rework, kinda balance the remove of rop
Did you get PI?
no
