I sailed the Quantum in may 2015 from Barcelona to Dubai on her maiden voyage to Shanghai. Also from Singapore via south east Asia return. She is a magnificent cruise ship I would recommend to anyone. She was the first of the Quantam class. I can say we loved every minute. Long may Royal Caribbean live, they do it right
I'm hoping the entire industry dies and their collective fleets are converted into hospital ships and emergency shelters. Grossly polluting petri dishes that rub global wealth inequality into the faces of those at their ports-of-call. Patrons ought to staycation as volunteers at their local shelters and soup kitchens. Tourism money? Stay home and cut a check to the economy they were going to visit. The locals there may appreciate not having to coddle a bunch of spoiled Westerners.
This liner became the largest ever to enter Russia in my city of Vladivostok in September 2019, it is also the largest of all that I have ever seen spector of the sea and quantum of the sea👍👍👍
Can't believe actually..such a majestic ship was actually built far away from the ocean. Its journey to reach its destination was so impressive. It's towering built..how I wish I can have a great journey too.
I don’t think we will be cruising ever again. 16 dead and 800 infected from the Ruby Princess in Australia; 1/3 of all our deaths from covid19. All cruise ships ordered out of Australian waters. Police and coronial enquiry on the Ruby Princess, criminal charges to be laid against Carnival management. Cruising is finished.
for the sake of the world and every breathing creature I hope there will be way less ocean cruiser and mass tourism all over! the air is so much clearer....the world finally has some time to recover and the human being enough time to think about that at home.
Cruising is a massive waste of resources. Floating around in a petri dish of infectious diseases and held captive to while away your time doing stuff the cruise line thinks is fun. Try to ignore the desperate conditions the crew labour under... all legal, of course, because cruise lines are all registered in Panama. They pay no local taxes but then turn around and seek local bailouts. Keep your money local. Staycation. If you really must burn through your money book a room in a hotel on the other side of town. Take in the sights that locals otherwise never make time for.
Daumen hoch! Gruss inselvideo!
Super Film der Quantum of the Seas ... die Aufnahmen sind hervorragend ... sehr tolle Onboard-Perspektiven dabei! Den Daumen weit hoch von mir dafür! Gruß Carsten
I am no expert--but would it not make more sense to build these enormous ships in a bigger river, much closer to the sea :D Seemed to be an awful lot of effort!
Long ago I wanted to avoid these things due to their reputation for spreading illnesses. I still marvel at them and enjoy videos like this, but even if they didn't have the illness risk they seem way too densely crowded to me. Imagine staying in a hotel and not being able to leave the building -- this is the modern day cruise ship. In previous generations they had tons of deck space to roam around on.
@@furyofbongos all the animals are on the pool deck or in the all day buffet which is the same level...the above level are lounges and small bar/cafe stands which are not congested. also front and back are never busy and also there is a reading area 1 deck down which is empty (big surprise)
Polluting petri dishes. Perennial ports-of-call are going to enjoy cleaner air for not having the equivalent to a million cars worth of air pollutants dock in their ports.
Norovirus was making cruising awful long before corona virus. I've never understood why people would subject themselves to those floating petri dishes.
Despite the strange name, this is basically an entire housing estate in water. It could be an interesting way of addressing the housing crisis. If I had the money to do property development, I'd want one project to be this concept of housing where residents could live anywhere in the world for a few months before moving on. Hypothetically, many could be employed on board but you'd have to figure out what everybody else would do for work. After a few years, you'd have local knowledge for every country and be able to speak nearly every language.

I can't afford to go on a cruise hip so I'm fine lol
Damn that little ship is stronger that the big one
Tractors must have power. Otherwise they are worthless.
I'm more impressed with the tugs
Were those little tiny boats pulling it out? Lol

Wonderful Cruise.😍😍😍
Came from Insta 😂
Disney should make a movie about tug boats! They are so cute to me. They should have a voice something like a tuff guy. 😂😂
I really like this boat! I was on it on the 6 to 10 Jan 2022 cruse!
How was it?? Seems like with so many new ships coming out and people being afraid to travel after Covid, they should be throwing out some good prices.
Amazing👍👍👍
This is very cool😍😍😍🤩
🔊 Great and Amazing Job, Guys!🛳🌊

So much for that business. I hope the yard has been paid for the work.
New business idea: retrofit cruise ships as hospital ships. Or emergency shelters to respond to natural disasters.
