Just finished streaming this delightful concert on tv. What a concert! It was great pleasure watching it! Big hit! An amazing conductor, composer,saxophonist Bob Mintzer and WDR Big Band where every member was a soloist! Joining the audience applauding you, thank you.
Eigentlich kann man sich ja mittlerweile die Kommentare sparen ,was will mann noch sagen,wird ja langweilig ständig zu erwähnen wie gut ihr seit ,immer perfekt ,immer Weltklasse.......und der alte Silberrücken Mr Mintzer ,was ein Tier. Welch unglaublich Geist und Energie, Ausstrahlung.....wie immer, und alles von euch ,gross!
Was sollen wir dann noch antworten auf diese lieb gemeinten Lobeshymnen auf unsere Arbeit. Nein, im Ernst - wir freuen uns, dass es dir so gut gefallen hat.

First Alan Broadbent's delightful Miles Davis arrangements and now Bob Mintzer's heavenly funky stuff! The WDR Big Band shows once again its ability to perform big band jazz at the highes quality level. And to show a bit of my Dutch chauvinist side: great job Duchies Breuls, Both, Bruynen and Dekker (no relative)

Bob!! Steel Eyed Dawn was awesome!! I swore you were going to solo with a Harmonica. Too obvious? Unbelievable song and arrangement. I was like " Where does Donald come in?"

I remember along time ago seeing Bob on stage at the regent treatre palmerston north new Zealand with the late trombonist Roger fox and his big band sublime gig.
