Other coaches would randomly say "What the hell are you doing?" after the play was decided that it failed, or the exact same play would be praised if it worked.
"What the hell are you doing?" after the play was decided that it failed, or the exact same play would be praised if it worked. Couldn't have said this any better. This is exactly why I think coaching is completely useless nowadays, it's just that majority of coaches don't know what they're doing
I get you, I coached my friend to help him get to gold. a lot of the things I told him were don’t do that, it worked cause you got lucky but that play was not worth. He got to pull off several outplays before since even if he was killable just through autos people would keep using skillshots and miss, especially against ezreals
@@meow-meow-beans My friend was doing placements last season, starting from silver 2, and was playing Viego jungle. I taught him so many things, even basics like how to clear camps (for some reason, he didn't use Viego's Q AoE to clear camps properly, what do you know), to more advanced things like pathing and how to play the game after 25 minutes, where to go, even they can do barons or just push. Generally laid out the gameplan for him and he was just controlling the character. He reached Plat 4 with a winrate of 32-5 or something like that. Game didn't even skip him any divisions which was super weird.
As a general tip for people learning lanes: you have to understand your matchup, that means you should think about "what does the enemy champion do, and how will I get punished for doing what I can do". If you think along that like you'll pick up most of the basics and be able to start focusing more on the macro of things and naturally figure out how to play the micro like this
thank you for all your video about Zeus spacing they are all really insane, well explained and by being a Jayce main it really help me to see how this champ is supposed to be play.
I swear, every time I see really good players like Zeus play, I get the motivation to learn Jayce, get into a draft game and try him out... Then go 0/7, get depressed then give up Then I see Zeus playing again and get the motivation to play him again and so on...
the key of champs like jayce, Teemo, Quinn, is the spacing, you need to now the enemy cd and how they work, if you learn to space and kite, you can climb very ez, i got master with Teemo by pure doing 1 vs 1 and 1 vs 2 in early game, destroying enemys by insane kiting, the match is very important, for example if the enemy have a jg like elise, you have to prepare because that type of jg, gank you very early, like min 2:30 or 3:00, and if you get stun, you will die for sure, the wave control is other important thing, in some games i die so much but having insane cs, i dont leave enemy farm meanwhile i got 10 cs x min
The thing is Zeus, even if he is in a 0/7 situation, can somehow make himself useful. There are games where he was focused so hard his early and mid game was a literal living hell, and even then he still manages to stay relevant to the game.
Its def harder and ik u don’t wanna grief your teammates but you will learn MUCH faster if you play him only in ranked and not draft games because you’re not getting a realistic example of how champs should work/ be played. Overall I couldn’t agree with your comment more tho. I am adc and feel the same way with Korean adcs playing certain champs sometimes LOL
This is how Zeus got his name. It was suggested to him by his mother due to his complete mastery of Jayce and Kennen - two of his favorite champions that happens to wield the lightning element.
Like…. I guess yeah but… pantheon started out really REALLY bad with those q’s. And he needs that early damage to really get a grip. I dunno I just wish sometimes they would show how to handle another high skill player in these instructional videos
The amount of concentration required to do this all lane phase while recognising other things such as warding, jungle pathing, lane states etc is amazing
Neat he uses the same camera movement setting I use. 1st time I've seen a vid of someone else using click drag to move cam. Obvs many ppl do but I've just never seen anyone else use it
Very important part of Jayce like 3:15 is switching to hammer form before getting beaten up, especially if enemy has stun and you can't switch while they combo you. The additional armor/MR really matters. Even better if you turn on hammer W while getting CC comboed, that will get your conquerer stacks up too.
You can Q first then E and still get the E’s distance and dmg increase. Jayce E overall is definitely one of the highest skill cap abilities in the game
3:49 assuming he kills, its still 1 for 1 for sure. No way he gets out of tower range in time. Is that even better for him than just not going in at all?
