It's mainly because of money, you should know that.
Not only they decided that they want different coloured bins, they also know they are helping the company greedily make more money by buying poor quality bins.
If I could, I would round up on a group of people to do the exact same thing to these new bins like the old ones, and swap them back with solidly built ones with the same colour as the new ones
