Thank you so much for showing us an easy and simple way to install these locs. i saw these at pep and loved them but wasnt sure how i will put them on my hair.
Your commentary is the best shame, it made the video much more entertaining 😂. Really loved the method and the results are so beautiful, I will definitely be trying this soon.
I use this hair all the time and I all wrap it with the same hair locs but I braid my hair into individuals braids first and crochet the loc through and then wrap it around, it's stays neat and tighter for longer. Love this look on you ❤️
Hey it's my first time seeing your video n your channel , it was such an easy and perfect installation thank you for showing us this video n u such a good personality presenter
This looks really easy and good, I'll try it out🤌🏽🔥 My concern is the taking down process, how do you take this hairstyle down without snagging your hair out?
It is 😅, I hope you do. For the take down, you mainly have to unwrap the hair that you wrapped around your hair and the dread. I'll do a demonstration which shows how exactly that's done.
Hey, I've inserted a short demo of a faux loc take down at the end of my most recent video, here's the link to it: ua-cam.com/video/rs4W9Xbcd24/v-deo.html Just skip to 17:21 and that's where you'll find the take down for this hairstyle.
Aw🥺 thank you 🤗🥰 I've inserted a short demo of how to take down a faux locs/jozi dred on the upload after this one, which is the "Neat Rubber bands hairstyle" & here's the link to it. ua-cam.com/video/rs4W9Xbcd24/v-deo.html You can just skip to 17:21 and thats where the demo begins
So regarding the small piece when you wrap around the dread doesn't it became loose without doing to much things to securing the dread from becoming loose?
No it doesn’t become loose on Afro textured hair (I haven’t tried it on relaxed hair),just ensure you wrap it as demonstrated on the video and cover all your natural hair
Heyyy, yes they did tangle, so he loves would have some hairs that would tangle and do like a mini spider web in between them. To deal with the tangles, whenever I’m moisturising my hair, I would just run my fingers in between the locks to easily find tangles, and cut any tangle I find. This minimised the number of tangles I got cause I did it like once every week
Can last up to a month but there’s a risk of your hair locking if you use moulding wax. You moisturise your natural hair at the base(as per your preferred schedule),and cut the tangles of the artificial dread once a week
When I'm racking through them with my fingers, I cut off the individual hair extensions that are nolonger part of the actual dread, cause they tend to cause the tangles. This is usually once a week

Hiii, I would love to find out if the locs tangled together while you had them? And if they did, how you maintained the locs?
Heyyy, yes they did tangle, so he loves would have some hairs that would tangle and do like a mini spider web in between them. To deal with the tangles, whenever I’m moisturising my hair, I would just run my fingers in between the locks to easily find tangles, and cut any tangle I find. @@PhelokaziM thank youuu❤️❤️
I meant to say “so the locs would have some hairs” 😅, 🤗
Hii how long does it lasts?? And how do I take care of them
Can last up to a month but there’s a risk of your hair locking if you use moulding wax. You moisturise your natural hair at the base(as per your preferred schedule),and cut the tangles of the artificial dread once a week
Did you manage to use the whole pack?
Yes I used exactly one pack
Hey, doesn't the jozi lite dread shed? I've used Durban dread and it sheds so much that I'm embarrassed to have the hair out when I'm in public
It does shed a bit but not as much as Durban Dred.
Hi Ma'am, is it true that these dreads can pull out your hair??
Yes it can if you attach the dread onto a small piece of hair, if you make them too tight, and if you leave them on for too long
Ndabukela i video yakho ndatsho ndakwaz uzenza bendicinga kunzima uzenza le dread hay sisi andimhle andimhle rhaa😂😂😂
Yassss !! 🙌💗Olu gets it 🤩
Sendibawela nokubona yhuuu you got me so excited 😆
How do you stop them from tangling?
When I'm racking through them with my fingers, I cut off the individual hair extensions that are nolonger part of the actual dread, cause they tend to cause the tangles. This is usually once a week
Hi, where did you buy these dreads?
