Top 5 Places to Visit in Yamba / Angourie, Australia

We spent a week in Yamba in November 2022 - here's the top five places we went:
1. Yamba Main Beach - grab a coffee in the morning at the Kiosk, spend your day jumping between the surf and ocean pool, then book yourself a table at The Pacific Hotel for an afternoon beer. Perfect beach day.
2. Spooky's Beach, Angourie - this was our favourite beach day. We grabbed breakfast (and lunch) at Angourie Cafe & Wine Bar, then set up for the day down at Spooky's. We caught some great longboard waves at the point on a smaller day and snorkelled around the rocks and saw a string-ray,
3) Angourie Blue Pools - two old rock quarries now make for awesome swimming holes. The first pool has an easy path up to a 2-3m jumping platform, and the second pool requires a more difficult rock-climb up up to a 5-6m platform.
4) Yamba Golf Course - we played the back-nine here, which was short but unforgiving with tight fairways lined by bushland. Kangaroos lined the fairways and greens - a great experience.
5) Lover's Point, Yamba - we spent an afternoon eating fresh prawn rolls on the headland between Pippi's Beach and Convent Beach. We had surfers to our right, a fisherman out front and waves to our left.
