Out of which many other rebellions came out of it and created more. On contrary to these we are led further away from the truth. Jesus is forever king of Israel'. In the eyes of truth there are the old ways and the new ways. Chronicles 28 revealed that Solomon built God's temple in regard to the revelation that the Helper revealed to David on how every detailed the temple of God has to be built. In the new testament, God revealed His Temple in detail through Paul. In the old testament it was really a temple built for God because of the details given by the Helper. But in the new testament there is no details of a physical building church. So, the physical building church is only built for people to gather and serve the Lord. It is not a building built for God but for believers to gather. So be it Catholicism, orthodox, protestants all are nothing but a system built on men's knowledge for influential religious people created it. There is no such thing as one true apostolic church. Most are seeking only men's knowledge so most of us ended up in the men's system and men's values. If we are really to allow the work of the Helper to bring us back to the truth, there is no religion in the eyes of God. No Judaism or Catholicism. Men created that. In Luke 4:28-30 we are told that the offense led the people to want to throw Jesus from a cliff for blasphemy. But Jesus said “blessed is the one who is not offended on account of me” (Matt 11:6). There are many verses where people talk about of all the guys who felt offended. 😂

From what I understand Sam has been doing this for a very long time. Frustration comes from having to answer and repeat the same things over and over and over while hearing the same defenses over and over and over. Its can be maddening. IMO that is why he can be "short" and flippant with people. Nowhere in the original bible does it say that Jesus is the actual son of God. You are refering to translation errors and more modern versions of the bible. Jesus, like all humans are the CREATIONS of God. God created all the universe, including the humans. So there is references to humans being children of God. But that is litterary translations. And Jesus never spoke English. Jesus spoke Arameic. You can not translate direct word for word, without understanding context. Example when the original version refer to God as "father"... it does not actually mean litterary a biologicly father. It means a person of authroty that is held in utmost high respect. Even priests are often refered to as father/padre in many religiously pious christian communities. Not because the priest actually is their biologicly father;) Thats the problem when translate things words for words without understanding the context and that words have several and different meaning in the languages they get translated from. Sam Shamoun. I want to ask. If this is true. Surrender to the Holy Spirit. My heart wants unity so this is what I found. Reading chronicles 1 :28. I found out that catholicism created a religion. Out of which many other rebellions came out of it and created more. On contrary to these we are led further away from the truth. Jesus is forever king of Israel'. In the eyes of truth there are the old ways and the new ways. Chronicles 28 revealed that Solomon built God's temple in regard to the revelation that the Helper revealed to David on how every detailed the temple of God has to be built. In the new testament, God revealed His Temple in detail through Paul. In the old testament it was really a temple built for God because of the details given by the Helper. But in the new testament there is no details of a physical building church. So, the physical building church is only built for people to gather and serve the Lord. It is not a building built for God but for believers to gather. So be it Catholicism, orthodox, protestants all are nothing but a system built on men's knowledge for influential religious people created it. There is no such thing as one true apostolic church. Most are seeking only men's knowledge so most of us ended up in the men's system and men's values. If we are really to allow the work of the Helper to bring us back to the truth, there is no religion in the eyes of God. No Judaism or Catholicism. Men created that. But Catholicism created a religion and separated itself completely from the root of truth. I see many men who are sound in men's knowledge not really preaching the truth but led astray by religion. From what I understand Sam has been doing this for a very long time. Frustration comes from having to answer and repeat the same things over and over and over while hearing the same defenses over and over and over. Its can be maddening. I love JESUS and I am blessed to have someone help me to learn to expose the untruth of the Quran, but the bible tells us to do this correcting with the Fruit of the Spirit, which would namely be gentleness. But I love Sam's knowledge of the TRUTH of the Bible. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Just remember God is working on Sam as well. Spirit of pride exudes from him but I know God will show him that he needs to walk in love. Love joy peacefulness patience kindness goodness faithfulness gentleness and self control. I see a lack of patience…love…gentleness. I love his passion but Christ never treated people this way. If I was unsaved and he spoke to me the way he did that young lady If I was calling with questions...I would be turned off from Christianity... and not want to listen to the truth of Gods word! My thinking would be, "if this is how Christians treat people... I want no parts of it. "Remember the word also tells us not to cause our brother to stumble. Jesus used righteous anger with the money changers however; show me in the bible where Jesus was rude, threatened to walk away or hang up as Sam says numerous times to this lady (also coming off as insulting towards her)... Ephesians 4:32: "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

Okay once again... the bible tells us we should be Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth-2 Timothy 2:15. Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. So since the verse you mentioned is Gods truth... explain why 1st Peter 3:15 says - But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. Isn't that what Sam was doing? giving her an answer however did he do it with gentleness and respect?
Again my friend you have to rightly divide the word of TRUTH. You can't read one scripture like your 2 John 1:9-11 and then disregard everything else that Christ taught.

The fig tree story is the interesting one. In Anne Emmerich visions this tree was baren during passing by st Joseph and Holy Mary on the way to Bethlehem so they couldn't eat fruits from it back then.

So there is references to humans being children of God.
But that is litterary translations. And Jesus never spoke English.

You can not translate direct word for word, without understanding context.
Example when the original version refer to God as "father"... it does not actually mean litterary a biologicly father.
It means a person of authroty that is held in utmost high respect.
Even priests are often refered to as father/padre in many religiously pious christian communities.
Not because the priest actually is their biologicly father;)

Arameic, Hebrew and Arabic has very common language roots. All 3 are semite languages.
All 3 calls God for Allah (just slightly minor pronounciationvariations).
Therefor all Arabic speaking christians also refer to Allah (instead of the word God).

Jesus did not speak English.

Arameic, Hebrew and Arabic is part of the same semite language family.

And for each translation iterations they have found many translationerrors.
Both in actual typos (so translated even the wrong words), but often translating phrases without understanding the meaning of phrases (have to understand popular phraises of that time).
Example references to "40" (which goes again often in the Abrahamic books), does mot actually mean litterary 40.
It was a popular phrases in the old days to reference "many (unspecified)" as 40.
A lot of such things gets lost in translation when you have people translating things word for word eithout understsnding the time or the context.
Just think about todays modern language... we have many phrases that is not ment litterary. We even have phrases that means the complete opposite. And we have even sarcasm etc etc.
You just csn not trandlate between languages without being fluen-fluentt in both languages and understNding historic language.

Sam has great theologically knowledge and correct refutations and can defeat these objections but the way he conducts these conversations is not a good witness. He is rude and condescending and i cannot imagine why anyone would want to become a Chrisitan after he berates them like this. This is not how a Chrisitan should present themselves with evangelism and answering questions. He has enough knowledge to be confident and therefore can give the same information with "gentleness and respect." We need to be salt and light.
I feel like apologizing to the lady for the treatment she received. If he was doing this as part of a church outreach and got caught doing this type of approach they would suspend him.

I've been a fan of Sam's commentary/lectures for many years, and I agree with you that at times you need to be more firm, however, name calling and personal insults aren't a good way to open up someone's heart and lead them to Christ. It would have been even more effective if he had taken a different approach while making the same arguments. I understand it can be incredibly frustrating dealing with ignorance.
