its so hard not to like ireland, None of their players are consistently singled out as their "star player" except perhaps sexton, but that overexaggerated. they are just incredibly solid. They are hard working, putting in some immense defensive shifts that have somewhat became their hallmark. their style of rugby is diverse and entertaining, they have grown a lot from the Joe Schmit days of demanded excellence and are a team that love to play fast, thrilling rugby. I really hope they go far in the world cup.
Great video again Andrew, tho i think you forgot Ireland's last try against Samoa which was a rob herring maul try. So interesting to see irelands evolution over this world cup cycle the amount of players we went through, seeing billy burns in an ireland jersey brings me back to those desolate times where pundits were calling for Farrell to be sacked crazy how things turned around
Ok, so they missed out on a semi final again. But so be it. Reset and move on. One direction in life, forward. Ireland don't have the powerhouse 'giants' that SA can call on but looking at them play and score, they are a half and half AB+SA combo. They use the forwards to suggest to the opposition "it will always be so", and then they do a bit of backs magic to stretch the ball into endless acres of space. They love the versatility of keeping the opposition confused about where to put their defenders. It seems simple but not many sides have that ability or brain to excel at a forward grunt game + backline incisive strikes with such fluidity. More young players emerging, being educated in this environment, will sharpen the weapon. Ireland has no need to feel morbid post WC.
The James lowe try against Wales, we'll find out just how fast he is, commentator ment to say not that fast, I'd fancy my chances to be honest hes not that quick earls would leave him for dead in his first few strides
The flag in your thumbnail is the wrong flag for the Irish rugby team. The flag should be green with the IRFU logo in the centre surrounded by the shields of the four provinces of Ireland (Ulster, Munster, Leinster, and Connacht). The flag you use is the National flag of Ireland (also known as the Republic of Ireland). This green flag is used because there are players from Northern Ireland on the Irish rugby team and some don't associate as representing the Republic of Ireland, hence the reason why Ireland's Call will be sang during the World Cup rather than the Irish National anthem.
It's true of course, but also funny in a non-funny way, as it's the flag of the Republic that identifies more clearly the 'Orange' of Protestant Unionism than the IRFU flag that only identifies Ulster as a Province, ie a Province that isn't exclusively Northern Irish, having three counties, and largest one, in the Republic. The complications of the Irish map, and the Irish mind.

Feel for Andrew Conway. One injury has deprived him of his starting berth
Indeed, he’s on stand by though.
True, but I feel the value of Lowe's booty and Mack's playmaker role are too good to ignore.
@@johnmc3862 he was a guaranteed start though.
@@sambingham1196 both wonderful replacements or options but Conway from the bench would be brilliant at the world cup
@@eamonlyons8318yes but mack has improved alot in the last 18 months and Lowe is a guaranteed starter
It’s mad think Hugo made his debut on the wing because now he made the 15 jersey his own
Sending my thoughts and prayers for the editing of the two hour-long video of France's tries since the 2019 RWC
The England 2023 game alone would be a task!
Should be some absolute belters in it though.

Apologies, my bad! I've had a shocker there
Miss CJ Stander so much was so underrated but with Doris coming in after makes people forget he retired 2 years ago
Ikr, he was so good but so is doris
I'm fijian but i love how Ireland sets up tries, so clean and fantastic
Andrew Forde is the best rugby YT channels out there without a doubt
Legend
Poetry in motion. Brilliantly coached side, favourites for the World Cup? I think so.
Id still say SA are favourites, Maybe if Ireland get over that quarter final hurdle then we can all agree its probably theirs
The attack speed really got jump started with gibson parke starting , on a wet day suiting kicking would prob still prefer murray though
Bundi Aki is a great example of pace + power.
Love these longer form videos!!
I was waiting very patiently for this video.
Thank you for sharing 👌🏻👌🏻
Brilliant to see their meteoric rise to become arguably the best team in the world at the moment!
We need this right now
Keenan is different gravy. Don't know why I thought he does absolutely everything but score tries. I was clearly wrong, he's deceptively quick as well
JGP's hairline is most accurate way of dating old 6N clips.
Surprised with the amount of appearances Earls makes
Never seen Ireland play like this before. I LIKE IT!
Dangerous team this is… definitely watch out for them at next World Cup and this is from a Bok 😅😅

Apologies, my bad! I've had a shocker there

Good point - apologies, didn't think that through

These aren't in order, are they?
What makes you think it's not?
Yeah, they're in order. From 2019.
@@AndrewDavidFordeA hangover probably. 😅
Won’t lie, I thought the same thing. The crowd in the first few tries threw me off
