The reset when you crashed at 1:10 is when: (simple)the game cant render the crash and the game becomes unstable so it resets your car. (Actual) The problem is when a part of the physics structure enters sort of a feedback loop where due to inaccuracies in the physics simulation every "oscillation" of a beam becomes increasingly violent. The game throws the instability detected error and resets everything to ward off worse problems (like crashing.) It's more likely to happen the more rigid a vehicle or prop is.

7:13 its cuz u leave the car holding a control, in this case the accelorator. Happens with steering to, if you hild it down and then get out the car it will hold the max of that input
u can press f7 to move your car to where your camera is to move it over obstacles and stuff.

i think i know how those guys got into the "secret" derby arena. If you have the funtion keys on your keyboard press F8 (which puts you in freecam) then press F7 (which sets your spawn point whereever you place the camera)

To spawn yourself in a new place, do shift + c to go into free cam, move your camera to where you want to put the car and press the f7 key.

i do edit all my videos myself , and it can depend on how long it takes ,if everything goes smoothly completely (which it usually doesn't) then you can get a vid done with 8-10 hours , not including all the other steps like thumbnails and stuff.
at 11:30 instead of throwing yourself over you can just press shift+c to go into freecam, then move your camera to where you want to go, then press F7 to move your car to your camera. thats much easier than throwing yourself over
edit: that area is for the destrution derby scenario

Just built a new pc to play this in vr and well lets just say i went from medium graphics with maybe 20 fps on mp with my old 3600x now able to run smooth as butter on ultra with a 7700x even with 10 cars which is an insane improvement overall

They need VOIP in beammp
you're getting lag spikes because the game pauses when a car is loaded or parts of it have been changed, by you, or by another player. You have Auto queue updates enabled, which means that when you drive along, when someone changes their car or spawns a new one, it is saved in a list of changes. Those changes get applied when you stand still for a couple of seconds. You can disable this auto update, but then you have to click the orange button at the top to apply the changes. By default, the player character models (snowmen/beamlings) are spawned instantly, which also causes a little lag spike. This can also be disabled.
Take a look in the settings, if there is something you don't like about the game 90% chance that you can change it. And if you are willing to learn coding and 3d modeling, that increases to 100%.
