Oh, I think my iPad was too old to make a valid comparison between the two. And it depends on what you will be using your tablet for... I have always been using Android on my phone, so I am comfortable with this tablet... And I'm still discovering what I'm able to do with this one. 🌻
The tablet looks beautiful....but from my experience any Android tablet is going to be kind of a “downgrade” from an iPad - I’ve tried like 4 different Android tablets (the Huawei Mate 10, the Galaxy Tab A, the Galaxy S5e and even the Amazon Fire tablet), and I’ve sold all of them using the money to buy an iPad. :) Still, that’s just my personal experience. Galaxy Tabs are objectively amazing devices, and I’m sure you’ll enjoy your new tablet a lot. 👍🥰

Yes, but it depends, I was coming from an old iPad 2 that takes more than 10 tries to open an app, and then it freezes, so... For me this tablet is awesome 🌼 you can have a divided screen with 2 apps open at the same time, it is smooth and good size, also it has the Spen and I don't really get bothered by the small lag when drawing/writing at all. Hope this helps!
Did you notice any gap between the pen tip and the screen due to the glass? Bc the tab has a laminated screen which makes the stroke right under the pen, and a glass screen protector might destroy that feeling?
I think illustration can be done with this tablet, the workflow will not be as smooth as in a high specs tablet, and you are limited to use the apps for android, but I think you definitely can. It's about what the user is willing to exchange for something more affordable. I hope to get used to drawing again, since it's been some time, and if so, I will record some drawing vids (: Hope this helps! ✌️😊
The battery is 7,040 mAh. And for me it lasts more than one day! I usually watch videos, listen to music, and take notes everyday. Your screen brightness is important so try keep it low. After 5 hours of video streaming with Bluetooth activated and screen brightness at 0% it consumed about 30% of battery 🔋. Hope this helps 🙏

Yeah, there is a small gap with the protector😕, but it does not bother me that much and I really wanted to protect my screen... it works for me 😊👌

I guess so! Try Autodesk Sketchbook app, some artists i know use this app on their tabs and they have no complains (it's a free app btw)
