Were you able to use the existing power from og sub? Or did you still have to run a line from the battery under the front seat? I just ordered this for my q7, great video was just unclear about that part. Thanks!
How does it sound buddy? I'm getting ready to thrown a sub in my S8 but I'm reading that subs don't sound good in the trunks because audi trunks are sealed up so tight? Thanks
It sounds great for a single sub. The bass fills the entire car and sounds good from every seat. 10 times better than the factory sub. For more bass one would have to put a box in the back and take up room.
@@kevinfitzpatrick5777 awesome.. I'm just putting a small 10"powerd sub (kicker type) for a little somethin.. my days of dual 12" enclosures are gone.. Do you think this will help with my factory Bose or am I just wasting money?
How did you do the wiring? Splice into a rear speaker wire or use the wire going into the original sub? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I have a Q5 and the JBL is shipping to the house as I type and I'm trying to game plan in advance. How are you enjoying it a few months after install?
Zac Williams I connected the wire going to the original sub. I really like it, it sounds so much better than the original and fills the car nicely with bass.
@@kevinfitzpatrick5777 that's good to hear. I want it but am not sure if it will fill the bass void in my forester. I want to keep my space open so this (it sounds) would be a good compromise.
You show us how to put a speaker in a boot (trunk). That’s it. No mention of how to wire it. Nothing. Thanks for the video, but not that helpful. (Not trying to be argumentative. Thanks again.
You never followed up... how much of a difference is it really
You did the upgrade, where is the test video 😒

I ran the positive wire from the fuse box in the rear side panel and ground from a body stud under the fuse box.
Great vid-. I know you said you used the original wires going to the sub. What’s your thoughts on tapping into the harness on the mids for the signal?

Hey man, wondering what colors are the positive and negative for the OEM subwoofer cable on your car?
How mach price boss
How do you like the bass on it so far?
It is good, nice clear lows the fill the car. The bass was definitely lacking and now it is good.
