Woodturning a black walnut lamp

I salvaged a few pieces of a Black Walnut a couple years back from my in-laws property. Although every limb was cracked, I couldn't let it all become firewood! I used 2" x 2" Hard Maple blocks leftover from an old wood project to make the pegs and some scrap 0.25" Poplar for the handle. The handle ring, also Poplar, I just happened to find laying around in my wife's art room. I decided to add it to the piece after I finished filming.
