Nah start in 2nd for the roll races only, gotta always start in 1st when doing a drag race but be prepared to upshift quickly to 2nd then another quick shift from 2nd>3rd and make sure its actually gripping up (should be at the tracks aslong as you lower rear tyres to 20psi IMO could be slightly more or less) then just full fkn send and upshift at the right time... don't over rev into red lineing... if done right these 700-800hp barra engines can do amazing things... the BARRA the lambo killer 😉❤

He ran a mid 11 with only 355rwkw on previous set up This car will go low 10s I reakon with a bit more goes
With that mph ur looking at a mid 10..... with a decent 60ft. Think i ran 10.3 at 134mph when it was making 420rwk. Keep at it fella good luck!!! Wish we had a track like that here in Vic
Without drag slicks it can sometimes be hard to get grip especially with a very very high powered barra, anything over500hp is too much power for using cheapo stock tyres, I have a 2010 FG Barra pushing 540hp and i even had problems when fully sending it it'll just start roasting on full boost from 1st to 2nd gotta feather it then from 2nd to 3rd gotta feather it... the stock tyres the car came with are simply not good enough... ripped em up finished em off completely one nice long burnout then one exploded luckily no other damage lol, so then I decided to upgrade to the potenza -potenza sport and they are amazing had no issues at the tracks i fully sent it and she gripped up perfect. Even on the streets amazing grip and amazing braking although if I wanted to i could easily roast em on the streets and they claim to be excellent in wet but no chance i can send it when wet, just instant aquaplaning i can be cruising at 40kmh in 3rd and just put me foot down and once boost comes on I'm just aquaplaning it is fun tho and good practice lol, if you're looking for good sport tyres that grip amazing at the tracks in dry conditions then go with the potenza -potenza sport absolutely amazing. If your looking for amazing grip in wet conditions then stay away from potenza -potenza sport 😅
Hey mate I'd like to ask you a few questions if that's ok. I have a bfmk2 with atomic 698 built motor running around 700rwhp. I have a psr 3584 gen 3 ready to go on. Wondering where you got your external gate housing. Also are you running a standard fuel rail? What fuel pump are you running. I have a Walbro 525 in tank thinking about going surge tank route do you think that's necessary? I'm aiming for around 800 to 850 rwhp.
Its obviously ain't got enough clamping pressure to hold the planeteries from slipping. I would of called it a night after the Ist wonky 2nd to 3rd change. Instead of replacing just bands & clutch plates, you'll probably have to do planeteries & shafts now!! 💸
She will be right! Only does it once it’s getting hot, never had any other dramas with it but I know this is a risk I’m willing to take pushing so much power through an untouched box! Just out here pushing limits and doing what others are too scared to do

BTR auto's eat up .8 of a second in this shift!!! The band is the weak link, very easy to spit if shift is made too aggressive.

Street driven car, full interior seats, radio, aircon and running a stock zf and stock bottom end i,d say a high 10 second pass is a very good result
