I love ARG games, especially when they're a passion project. Shipwrecked 64 reminds me a lot of those .exe games but it's also got a found footage vibe to it.

Connor who was always an asshole accidently swapped his hard drive with a drive containing all the things the ceo was covering up and that's why the meeting went as it did, then he put all the intimidating evidence into shipwreck 64 (that's why the murders are front loaded behind losing simple minigames). and Connor was probs murdered by the company and turned into one of those things and now stalking the ceo.
The jumpscare where the monster jumps out from behind the fixed aspect ratio is **insane** and I'm genuinely surprised I've not seen that before, considering how many people nostalgia bait with N64 stuff in creepypasta games.
Dark fact: The starlings jumpscares show fragments of the videos you find of how each of them died. Olivia shows water because she was drowned, Giovanni's face was burnt in a stove, and Walter was killed by Bucky's voice actor, who also killed the other two, using a chair (although not shown in the jumpscare, the image is from the video showing the entire thing). Olivia is also the only one who has a rare jumpscare in which the real Olivia appears as a deformed human. Blox, the rabbit that manifests through building up as objects, is actually Rex, the founder of the company that owns Bucky and the other characters, said company tried to revive him using the same thing they used for the other 4, this is why you can clearly see a corpse inside of him, and his jumpscare shows a gravestone.

Mark is the guy who we saw cut funding. He did so due to (I think) his wifes cancer treatments. He was cutting their funding more and more in hopes she would getter better. The cut funding bit being the ending voice message. The entire game was basically a suicide letter. The lead dev just gave up after this. And took his own life, which was why it was taken off store shelves so fast. If you want a more in depth explanation,just search up shipwrecked 64 explained onto the search bar. Theres a great budeo on it that goes into much more depth about the story and puzzles. Though it is longer than an hour
