lol. That bike needs $2000 worth of work. Or you can spend 40 hours a week for the rest of the month parting it out and selling it on eBay. The seller was not a negotiator at all he was a typical delusional seller
"Some condition issues" is an understatement. Its was a fair offer. 100% restoration job would easily have exceeded the market value. Searching for parts would have been a chore.
@@kalijasin - it's a total stripdown. I just did a resto on a complete (when found) 69 Z50-AK1 and just salvaging/renewing OEM parts where able and hitting the aftermarket for the remaining 10% of "unfindables", I easly sunk $3.5 - 4K into it...on a 59 benly......I could see $6-7K "invested" in a restoration with a resale of about $3500 maybe eek a little more if any OEM parts can still be found (with receipts for proof). You do these bikes for the love of them, and that's about it.
I bought one in much better shape for $500, $700 seems high for that, but in nevada that might be going rate for a private sale, that being said, the pawn shop would have to do a lot of work to even make that something someone would even look at. the headlight, speedo, exhaust, sidecovers were all missing and I can see lots of incorrect and probably stripped hardware. it's a parts bike or a bike someone would have to love.
I agree, if they sell in good condition for $2-3,000 then Corey has to spend $1,000 on fixing it up, he has to get the bike for next to nothing to make money on it.
About 2 years ago I seen an early 60's Honda dream at a yard sale. Hadn't been used since the 70's according to the plate. Complete and priced at $400. One of the problems is the battery for those things....that size is no longer made. Would have been a fun project but I didn't have that money to spend then.
Agreed. It may not have been worth it for the pawn shop but to the average person trying to make money, it would have been worthwhile to snap some quick pics and part it out online.
That bike would be more work than it could be sold for. You would have to overhaul the engine, replace all the wiring, rechrome the wheels, replace all of the nuts & bolts, etc.
my guess is the selle r has more than that into it. Probably bought it as a project, then decided it would be too much time, effort and money. The problem is when people buy a "project" then need to get out of it, they can't understand why someone else won't pay the same or more than they did, when they should just cut their losses and sell it.
It’s simple. I think Corey doesn’t really know the true value of the bike. A benly for $200? The parts costs more than his offer. He better get the scooter for the kids instead.😂
I had a chance to buy a very clean running, complete 66 dream 160 a few years back for $1500. Then my sister died and I had a funeral to pay for. kissed it good bye.
That's about what my local classifieds look like the vehicle section. "Needs new tires, transmission needs rebuilt, needs new rims and new brakes but other that it runs great and I want $3000 for this truck that I probably spent 20 years abusing as work horse ".
Nice Little Honda motorcycle... easy fix....All scooters should be in the Wind.....Live to ride and ride to live.......Freedom is Great.....thank you brave Men and women for my SAFTY and Freedom of Speech.....
Eh i parted out a riding lawnmower motor with a cracked block on Ebay a kohler courage 20 SV600S and sold the parts of it for more than $300 over a 2 month period and that was just a normal old single cylinder motor so good usable parts are definitely worth money in todays economy just have to put in time work and patience.
That guy is on drugs asking $700. You might get that selling every nut and bolt off it parting it out but that would take years plus time and effort. If it was a 305 and it had all the pieces there it might be worth that.
That felt very staged: dude probably just wanted to say he was on the show just to get visibility for the bike (and perhaps other junk he's trying to sell)
@WTF_Videos Yea, because having subs is how a person who has no life, no girlfriend and no friends, measures their worth. I bet you have a lot of "friends" on Facebook also. You must be a really popular dude. LMAO
Great negotiating skills bro! 😂
bruh lol
This Guy pretty Similar to Big Hoss
lol. That bike needs $2000 worth of work. Or you can spend 40 hours a week for the rest of the month parting it out and selling it on eBay. The seller was not a negotiator at all he was a typical delusional seller
He didn't want to just give it away. So yeah that's negotiating.
@@kitrichardson5573 can't really negotiate wen corey not willing to budge.
"Some condition issues" is an understatement. Its was a fair offer. 100% restoration job would easily have exceeded the market value. Searching for parts would have been a chore.
Engine needs overhauled, wiring needs replaced, wheels need re-chromed, fenders and gas tank need repainted, etc.

Jason C. Yes sir,and all the necessities and parts finding/machining add up over time! Sell it to someone who is willing to restore it! Really.
I actually agree with Corey here. Even 700 was too steep. It'll cost away more than that to restore it.

Corey ends up being a chill version of the Old Man.
Who knew?
Great job by Corey!
I had one when I was in Okinawa Japan in 1962, it was black and I had it painted blue at the Honda shop by Iga, who became my friend!
Iga? you mean IGA? IGAWANIA no IGA?

Wow, thats a very early honda. First year honda motorcycles if properly restored actually pull a premium. Good luck finding parts though.
I love Corey
Looks like he pick that up from a dumpster
barn, more likely
that thing looks like he pulled it outta the junkyard lmao.
$700 for a paper weight!😂
Jman👀
honda bently are a classic man awesome bike awesome car
Parts bike- for somebody who’s time is worth $15 an hour to take the dang thing apart and piece it on eBay.
200 is a fair enough for that motor👍👍👍👍
Mechanic checks it out and lists the parts that needs to be replaced.
On the bottom has three words. It says
"brand new bike"
Like it said in Robo Cop " I'd buy that for a dollar"! Not.
5k to restore that POS minimum. No way anyone is making money off that. A labour of love, that's about it.
Dumpster Honda still better than any Harley though.
Mike Cronis fax
I redid a 64 CA160; same bike. All those missing parts really add up, especially when 90% of the "NOS" stuff is Taiwanese copy junk and can't be used.
Agreed. It may not have been worth it for the pawn shop but to the average person trying to make money, it would have been worthwhile to snap some quick pics and part it out online.
I bought one in 2015, same year, much better shape for $400!!!!
If your not gonna restore it or part it out then what the heck you gonna do with it Corey
he made a mistake omg i'm dieing
That bike would be more work than it could be sold for. You would have to overhaul the engine, replace all the wiring, rechrome the wheels, replace all of the nuts & bolts, etc.
Corey got dragged out of bed to film this
He should let him have it for 200 😂

I am not gonna lose a bike over $500
He shakes with his right hand if it's yes , and he shakes with his left hand if it's no ? 😜
I’ve seen him shake with left hand in other ones too. Left hand shake is not for me.

It's missing the exhaust pipes, headlight, side cover...$200 is what it's worth. Needs a major restoration
That's about what my local classifieds look like the vehicle section.
"Needs new tires, transmission needs rebuilt, needs new rims and new brakes but other that it runs great and I want $3000 for this truck that I probably spent 20 years abusing as work horse ".
That thing is a piece of junk
Its worth 300..someone went at it as a project and left it half way..
Nice Little Honda motorcycle... easy fix....All scooters should be in the Wind.....Live to ride and ride to live.......Freedom is Great.....thank you brave Men and women for my SAFTY and Freedom of Speech.....
Thing didn’t even run and he wants more than 500$? 😂
Seller: He made a mistake
Me: Shut up cry baby. If you could have did it yourself, you would have.
A fair price is Free to $300
I seen some of the pawn stars are actors seen on other history episodes.
That bike is missing a lot of parts.
it gets old when people say parts alone its worth so and so,, when you sell a MB or car for parts your just not going to get much
Eh i parted out a riding lawnmower motor with a cracked block on Ebay a kohler courage 20 SV600S and sold the parts of it for more than $300 over a 2 month period and that was just a normal old single cylinder motor so good usable parts are definitely worth money in todays economy just have to put in time work and patience.
Guessing, but Honda Dream stuff would probably fit head light, speedo.
I'm from sri Lanka thanks you
Desert find
and here i thought they restored items to sell for bigger bucks... hmmm
I used to own one.
Left 🤝 is quite strange.
Good only as a parts bike, not a pawn shop buy.
Well I guess $700 wasn't a fair price to Corey. . .
Crappy bike, $200 was being nice. I would have offered less!
That guy is on drugs asking $700. You might get that selling every nut and bolt off it parting it out but that would take years plus time and effort. If it was a 305 and it had all the pieces there it might be worth that.
I don't want a pickle, just want to ride on my moto cy kle.
Same pronunciation, different alphabet spelling, "benri" in Japanese means "convenient," "handy."
nah! dont take to Pawnshop for high dollar
sell it to end-user
He never made a mistake the family are millionaires
What happened to "i did a lot of negotiating so I can take him" .....who has the bike now ?
It's probably rusting away in his back yard and he'll be lucky to get $100 for it.
I bought min for 600 bucks
That felt very staged: dude probably just wanted to say he was on the show just to get visibility for the bike (and perhaps other junk he's trying to sell)
Corey may as well buy a pile of scrap metal.
How much does anybody think the ps2 in good condition will be worth in about 80 years?? I might just go to the pawn shop just to sell it
You're in for a rude awakening. WW3 or A.I. takeover will end us before 80 years.
give yo nothing later
Lawn ornament
Lol
There is not a lot of profit to be made...
That bike is trashed!
"benly" is the Japanese for "convienent.".
便利な本田
i will give you 1$ but i cant go any higher i will not make money
It’s literally a $200 bike things a turd
200 😂
For once a guy would have done better with Rick because Big Hoss Corey is a self proclaimed Harley guy and Rick likes all that foreign crap...
Scrap it. Dang. It will never be restored. Waste of tine and money.
Worth more in salvage and parted out.
I buy it for 400$
900 🤣😅😆
Junk is junk.

Scrap

Scrap metal

You're on the Internet. It's okay to cuss.

that junk would cost more to restore than it's worth restored .
SCRAP !!
Haha stockers sucks!!!
Chris Pap your not good looking at all, so you shouldn't be judging nobody. By the way Cory is a very cute young man
