Thanks! I do NOT like paint stripper. Always avoid it if I can. Was looking forward to using my new blaster but the lead paint said nope. I only showed a fraction of the work in the video. Thanks for the comment!
Thanks!! ✌🏽 You were super close in the poll! The closest guess for sure. By the way, I HATE paint stripper. Glad you liked it, thanks for the nice message. See you in the next one, friend. 🖖🏾
I really like that even though I don't drink anymore!!! It looks great and you did a wonderful job restoring it as well!!!! I enjoyed your video so I gave it a Thumbs Up
I didn’t know what that can was for until the end... what a great gadget!🍺 A lot of work, patience and different techniques went into this project. I’m glad you saw the beauty of this beforehand. You did great my friend🖒
Thanks!! I wish that I could show all of the work involved in these projects but it would make for a very long, boring video. I am glad you enjoyed watching this. Thanks for the feedback!
Such a unique piece! I always enjoy your projects! This one definitely seemed more labor intensive. I liked the "mad scientist" rust removal- so satisfying. Great job!
Thanks!! This one was definitely a little more labor intensive. The paint removal was painful. If I could have sand blasted, it would not have been as bad.
What A cool little carrier. If that was in Australia we would call it an Eske. Hope you had protective gear on around that paint. Finished project is brilliant 👍👍
Thanks!! Contrary to what you see in the video, I actually did wear a respirator most of the time and the paint chips were collected for hazardous waste disposal. 🧤🥽😷🖖🏾
I hope so but you should wait until you see it in person before saying that. The camera and magical editing makes everything look good!! Thanks for sending it. I'll get it back to you in a few weeks.

I love watching your restorations. You are very skilled at what you do and thank you so much for sharing it all with us. However, I am confused. Why test for lead paint? I know that lead is poisonous to humans, but if no extra protection or precaution is taken to remove the lead paint than any other based paint, why test? Surely, (and I only say this for your own safety and that of your subscribers) you should be wearing gloves, mask, and removing with strippers, or in a laser box, as opposed to scraping off dry flakes? This bottle cooler was beautiful once restored and please don’t think my criticism to be offensive. As a nurse, I am just concerned for health reasons xx
Hey! You are 10000% correct about PPE. Contrary to what you saw in the video, I did wear a respirator and at least one (?) glove most of the time while working on this, especially when sanding or spraying aerosols. I promise!! I am not as worried about lead exposure after I have wetted the old paint with stripper because there is minimal dust, but I probably should be. You are correct to point this out!!! No offense taken here. Thanks for the feedback and hopefully I'll see you in the next one. No lead paint in that one, I already checked! 😷✌🏽
So glad you are not offended as no offence was intended. Thank you for your reply, I’m happy you took some precautions. I will definitely be there for your next video, I love your channel. ❤️
YES!! I promise I did wear a respirator most of the time, for sure all the time when sanding. I wasn't so worried when the paint was saturated with stripper because there was no dust. Thanks for asking!! ✌🏽

Glad you liked it! Thanks for the great feedback.
Tough cleaning and removing paint but the restored can is beautiful.

Also you should wear a mask hahaha 😁

@@Restorology I know you would have, I was just joking with you as you said the same to me 😅
Very nice!
Thanks!! This was different but a lot of fun.
Nice job mate. That piece would not be an easy one to do. 👍
Thanks! The paint and rust removal on this one was a hassle. It would have been so much easier if I could have blasted it. 🖖🏾
I want that 😍
