Loved Ed on The Crystal Maze he was great. Met him a few years ago and bought him a shot in a Pub when he came to Swindon. It was very surreal! This guy made my childhood! Keep on rocking! Good to see him looking well. He is bringing out an autobiography soon too.
Loved Ed as The Maze Master - he was actually my favourite. Thank you so much for this interview with him. It's great to hear him talk about his time on the show. He's been given some unnecessary stick by the public - which he doesnt deserve at all. Can't wait to read his rock n roll tales in his autobiography. 👍🏼
I saw Tenpole Tudor at Middlesborough Rock Garden, I think it was about 1980, and I was a bit older than 12😂. Great gig though, it all kicked off half way through, I had my back to the stage, and the punches were flying in from all directions. I can still remember Eddie stopping the singing and saying something like "It's about time you entertained us". Happy Days 😅
Brilliant, eccentric and flamboyant with lots of respect to him, I think he's brilliant and sounds really down to earth and very humorous the way he chats and very pleasant. Always thought highly of him. The old ship name he was thinking of which was Ocean they used to call the S.S.Atlantis. I thought he was great on The Crystal Maze and was especially funny on camera with his mannerisms and also his big music side of his life before and after.
What a sad git, I remember seeing him doing an acoustic set supporting a sex pistols tribute act in a small pub about 12 years ago, he seems a bit pissed too, tenpole tudor were a very poor man's Adam and the ants with none of Adams charismatic stage presence and no Marco perroni on guitar, as for his phase of the christle maze.. Not a patch on the legendary Richard o Brian who must have made a fortune from writing the fabulous rocky horror picture show 😢😱
Thankyou for your time as Mazemaster Ed! Keep On Rockin' as you would say!
Keep On Rockin Ed! :-)
