The Brigham Young University Ballroom Dance Program is the largest and most comprehensive ballroom dance program in a university setting in the world. Each year 4000 students take some type of ballroom dance class as part of their studies.
The Ballroom Dance Company is comprised of five separate performing ensembles/companies. The premier company, the Ballroom Dance Touring Company, Travels each spring/summer on a three week performance tour. The company has traveled to over 35 countries and has performed for millions of people.
I arrived at this video from reading about Napoleon Dynamite on Wikipedia, the director went to BYU so then I started reading about BYU and from there I wound up here lol

My daughter just auditioned for her first BYU team yesterday and she got into ENSEMBLE 3!!!! Her first tryout after summer and spring teams ❤️❤️

BYU have been constant
US champions for the past 36 years. They have been to the world championships in Blackpool England every three years over the past 30 years....so ten times. They have won it...ten times.
Yeah! As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and a member of the BYU Ballroom Dance Company I will say, to qoute an Article of Faith of the Church, if there is anything virtuous, lovely, of good report, or praiseworthy we seek after those things! Performing with the company is a special experience

I enjoyed taking ballroom at BYU, especially Latin dance. This concert was quite beautiful, and well done. Then you decided to throw in hip-hop and ruin it. Too bad.
