Hi Matt In this submission, all these cards were purchased almost a year prior, it's definitely not easy to find the older xy/bw cards these days. There are a lot of listings for cards all around the world, Japan is not the only place to buy Japanese cards, it's a place I buy from because I'm from Australia and it's just as expensive to buy from US for me. Most cards in Japan are actually more expensive than in other parts of the world (more Japanese card collectors.. in Japan) Navigating your way through Japanese sites just comes with time and patience, there are a few videos on youtube like how to buy using zenmarket, buyee ect, I suggest using those.

The best of XY Shaymin and Yveltal cards are amazing. I've got some sent off atm at psa. They were wasted as promo cards in English. The Japanese versions will always be superior. 🔥
Your issue on the dented PSA 10 is you looked at the card and not the label. Looking at the card you thought it should have been a 6 but if you instead looked at the label you would see it was a 10 so it was you who was mistaken. As the label shows it is a PSA 10 clear as day.
@@PokemonSteven my personal guess is that the Nikkei hit a record high after 33 years, I know many Japanese cashed out at the top, probably looking for alternate investment vehicles, but that’s a completely wild guess though
